Stable Gate Brewers Fayre

A large place with plenty of parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Cannot fault the quick service - we ordered our meal and it had arrived within 15 minutes, especially with us being part of a large group. The food was ok - you get what you pay for. There is a large play area for children too, which is great to see.

I live locally, and had we had friends stay 1 night, so we joined them for breakfast. I travel a heck of a lot and use the Premier Inn regularly. This Brewers Fayre who supplies the food for the meal deals has to be the best. The breakfast was superb. No waiting for refilling of the hot food trays. Courteous when stopping one girl to fill the milk in the coffee machine, and right down to having a group of happy workers looking after everyone. And all the food was fabulous, especially on a Saturday and at 10 am, which is regarded as part of the busiest time for breakfast. 👏👏 to you all at The Stable Gate. You should be proud of yourselves. No doubt we will be popping in on a usual Friday evening, knowing we will get another excellent service from you guys once more 👍👌😁

If you’re going for a cheap tea with the kids, this place is brilliant. We had the carvery which was delicious - it also included unlimited veg and potatoes. It was super reasonably priced and the kids could play in the play area which meant it was a pleasant experience for us all. The staff are so helpful and friendly - it must be a tough gig with it being quite loud and kid friendly, but they were really calm and professional.

Visited the Stable Gate for breakfast a few times over the past year or so. I believe it’s linked to the Premier Inn next door but you can also just walk in without having stayed at the hotel. It’s currently £9.99 for unlimited breakfast items, including pastries, pancakes, croissants, fruit, cereal and yogurts. There’s also a cooked breakfast buffet with all the usuals. It’s decent for the price and they have a good range but it’s not anything super exciting.

I went for breakfast recently with a friend and had a lovely visit. We had two babies with us. There was plenty of space for prams. It was a really relaxed atmosphere, we didn’t feel rushed which was great when needing to pause to feed the babies. The unlimited teas and coffees was great too - it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy a relaxed breakfast with plenty of refreshments. We were served by Leah B who was really welcoming and friendly. Our breakfast was made fresh to order and was delicious!
