Chinatown Cafe

Got the Szechuan beef delivered. The good: Food was hot. Sauce was tasty, veggies good, they put some sweet little puffy cinnamon sugar desserts in the bag for free The bad: Much of the beef was inedible. Hard and rubbery. Some pieces were pure gristle. A few pieces were tasty and tender but prob 80 percent was inedible Pic is of my leftovers the next day with inedible beef separated out. I gave 3 stars cause everything was great except the beef! Hopefully this was a bad day for Szechuan beef and not the norm.

The servers were pleasant, attentive, and the decor was generalized Chinese buffet. However, the food was a a slightly different story. The meats in general were cooked well, which was nice., but most dishes were definable not at the correct temperature. The issue is the flavoring of most dishes were either too salty, way too sweet, or in general just not a flavor I would want to eat again. Was it terrible, no. Bad, definitely in flavor.

How is this a Vietnamese egg roll…? I called just thinking they made a mistake and the woman doubled down and said it was right. I’m not one to complain but this is silly. There’s not even egg in it. It’s literally shredded iceberg lettuce and noodles in rice paper. And when I tried to pick one up it shredded like this. The paper was so wet it melted in my fingers. 6 bucks for this is a bit silly.

First time There.. your sushi bar excellent the avocado cucumber is great . food was pretty tasty . But what happen to back area with shrimp, crab puffs & Chicken nuggets ,garlic bread area? All cooked way to long almost burnt? Your guy went around but never brought fresh stuff to replace ? Plus salad bar, ice chips in the salad😁 makes the salad wet ? Doesnt make it fresher.... 14.00 For buffet 😁😔we want all food fresh and cooked! maintained warm and not burnt on any of the buffet tables. Your waiter was polite and smiled tho thats why you got 3 stars ...
