Sonic Drive-in

Closest Sonic to my home and will never eat there again. I ordered through their app, checked in when I got there and my order quickly disappeared from the screen as if delivered. I waited a few minutes, pressed the button on stall and explained. The person who answered said they had my order, they were short staffed, and it would be out soon. A picture paints a thousand words, so here's my foot long chili cheese dog. Our American dog was sopping wet with what appeared to be relish juice, and was inedible. It was as if intentionally done because I inquired about my order since it's impossible for that to happen erroneously. Sad, since I always tip well and am an understanding customer when things aren't going as planned. Just plain inexcusable.

The staff at this Sonic are hard workers and have been friendly every time I have visited. There have been other locations that have turned me off from ever visiting Sonic, but this location is our favorite. We are served pretty quickly here, and every visit we've had a friendly employee help us. Nothing like a Sonic treat/drink! Very kid friendly!

This is one of the better sonics in town! Everybody usually is doing their best, and meeting customer needs. Its unfortunately on a weird spot on university, so keep in mind that, because it gets really busy sometimes. So if you see a lot full of cars, set your expectations for what they should be, and understand that you might be waiting for a few extra minutes, whilst the few carhops take out food for 15+ cars. Still my go to sonic though!

The location of this Sonic would be better closer to I35. Nothing that makes this place fabulous but majority of time food is hot and fresh. Absolutely love the sonic app, half price drinks all the time. Makes it worth having on the phone. People are good, Not saying you wont run into a bad employee but they do a good job.

I mobile order from this sonic frequently and I can say without a doubt they are possibly the worst at bringing the drinks out. I will wait 10- 15 minutes until they bring out 2 drinks. That’s it just 2 drinks. sometimes I’ll be the only car here. So I’m wondering what everyone is doing in there? And then when you press the button to ask what’s going on they just cut you off and tell you it’s coming soon. And then proceed to take another 5. It’s just ridiculous.

Paid $10 for a couple milk shakes and was completely forgotten about. We waited while multiple people came a left with full orders. We then pressed the button again for a status update and waited almost a full 10 minutes with the light on before just leaving. No idea what happened today but it was a pretty big disappointment to lose that $10, as we were clearly not valued as customers.

Every single time I come here, it takes like 20 to 30 minutes to get anything done. I may as well go to McDonald's and pay slightly less for some fried nutsack meat. I pressed the order button and waited for over 15 minutes, nobody did anything. So I went and downloaded the app. I put my order in only to find that they weren't taking online orders through their app, likely because they are not managed well. I ended up literally hitting the screen after 30 minutes of waiting and they finally took my order. Very very pathetic. Sonic has been consistently terrible everywhere I am but the Denton location is the worst I have experienced in years.
