Queenie's Denton

We all have heard of destination weddings, well Queenie’s Restaurant should be put on the map as a destination restaurant, a must on everyone’s list of places to go and experience! Last night my daughter and I had a sad day having to bring our foster dog back to his owner after caring for this special pet for a year and three months! So needless to say our hearts were broken! We decided to google a good steak house and go eat our sorrows away! We were treated to the most enjoyable and fantastic dining experience we have EVER HAD in our lives! The entire staff waited on our every need with the best service ever! Our server David was an amazing kind young man who saw to everything, and Ken the Manager, well there aren’t enough words in the English language to describe how generous and kind and helpful he was! Our spirits were lifted and the sadness we felt magically disappeared for the time we spent in Queenies Restaurant! The food was cooked to perfection, delicious with every bite, and we both left feeling very grateful and blessed to have enjoyed such an amazing dining out experience! I seriously doubt I will ever come across another dining experience like we enjoyed last night! I highly recommend that everyone visit Queenie’s Steak House and find your own magical dining experience that you will never forget as long as you live!!!! We will travel back to this area again and Queenie’s will always be one of our first stops!!! Thank you so much! They also allowed our other two dogs Hansel and Gretel to sit out on the patio with us while we ate and they spoiled them as much as we were spoiled with fresh steak bites! I just can’t thank them enough.

I was VERY pleased with Queenie's! As soon as I walked in, I loved the live music, the bar, the tables, the ambiance - it was my kind of place. Not pretentious, but yet has it's style. The food was mouth-watering. The Rattlesnake-Rabbit suasage was unique, the fried brussel sprouts were phenomenal, and my Grilled Salmon was - as the kids say -LIT! Lol. In all seriousness, I will DEFINATELY come back the next time I am in Denton. Kudos to the entire team. OH, and the chocolate cake (forgot the name but it was their version of a lava cake with ice cream and toffee) was like an orgasm on my palette!

Great food, but it took 2 hours for our meal to come out hence the 4 star review. Maybe try them out on a Mon-Thurs night. The manager came by and greeted us which was nice! Reminded me of my experience at theTexas steakhouse in Richardson...they make you feel so welcome!! Torrie was an amazing server as well!

My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary this weekend. I absolutely loved the live music and ambiance of the restaurant. Everything I ordered tasted amazing! This was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had. The wait staff were nice and made our experience wonderful. The manager stopped by our table to chat and be sure we were taken care of. It was absolutely a wonderful experience.
