A group of 8 of us had a truly wonderful meal here.
Superb poppadoms and pickles, followed by quality starters and excellent mains. Every single one of us loved the food.
Service was friendly, prompt and polite with a good level of interaction, and tolerance with our slightly boisterous group. Apologies if we were a little bit loud at times.
The restaurant is superbly appointed and looks real quality throughout.
My initial reaction to the bill was that it was an expensive place to eat. However, on reflection when choosing the quality of the food, the environment and the service it's a justified price.

Highly recommend!!! My husband and I went tonight for a 3 course meal. Absolutely incredible. Mazza and the team were very professional. Thank you so much for a lovely night. Really appreciate the time the waiters spent with us explaining what items were on the menu. Great portion sizes too! Thank you, I'm stuffed!!! :)

The food was great in this place. Service was good too and the decor is nice. The prices are a bit high and the portion size could be bigger but all in all loved it and look forward to visit again.

A wonderful warm welcome, polite attentive staff. Food was hot, tasty and delicious. Very well presented and nice to have the first serving served.

Had a meal tonight and it was outstanding!
The service was on point, food came out piping hot and was served in an acceptable time. The waiters/waitresses were very professional and catered to all put needs. Husband is gluten free and that wasn't a problem. Thanks guys

The time between starters and main was excellent and the food was just delicious.
We couldn't finish the meal as we were full, so they put it in containers to take home.

I can happily say I have never had a bad experience from The Viceroy. As for the food quality, I would easily say this is my favourite curry house in Derby & the delivery is always on time, with the staff who deliver always friendly. I would highly recommend The Viceroy, especially the garlic chill lamb! You won't be disappointed!
