This place don’t open lunch time, their dinner service starts at 5pm. We were there, first table in, on Saturday soon after they opened. They serve impressively fresh delicious food here at reasonable price. There’s a lot of tasty options on the menu and a selection of choice for vegetarian/vegan too. And my favourite has to be the aubergine in black bean sauce and salt & pepper tofu. Takeaway is available for collection only.

Everything about our visit was great. Even tho we were the only dining in customers. The staff were great. Very inviting. The food was top notch. The best Chinese meal we've had in several years. Will definitely be going back.

A treat in Littleover... When I was younger a Chinese meal was a treat we had once in a while.. over the years the frequency got more and it felt like it was because as often with a treat the novelty wears off if you have it to often... we go probably once a year often with the same result in disappointment.. Until this evening the treat was back on the menu and it occurred to me that it wasn't the frequency of the meal but the quality that was lacking in all those other visits spanning 30 years..
This place is a gem and a family run one at that very friendly the decor is like a blast from the past.. I liked it as unpretentious as you can get.. the food speaks for itself probably one of the best cantonese meals we have had ever.. I am planning my next visit..

Walked in on Saturday evening, they were busy, had to wait 10 minutes for a table, that’s expected at peak hours. It was well worth the wait, food came out piping hot, generous portions! Everything tasted delicious & fresh. Was one of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve been too.

What a wonderful meal we had this evening! Salt and pepper Prawns, crispy fried chicken, two egg fried rice, Szechuan King Prawns and King Prawns in black bean sauce….all SO delicious. The waitress was great too and we’ll very definitely be going back. Faultless.

The food was absolutely fabulous and the service was brilliant.The people there are so nice and can’t do enough for you. Haven’t been for a long time but will be back all the time.

Always great food - never had a disappointing meal either eating in or take-away. They are lovely people too - even ran after me to give me some money as I had been accidentally charged the restaurant price for my take-away. Would definitely recommend.

A friend treated us to a wonderful meal, She experimented with a dish she hadn't had before with ginger and pineapple. Beth was rushed off her feet as usual but Laura the waitress who was fairly new was amazing. They were busy, but the food was excellent. We would highly recommend Zing Vaa. They have some new items on the menu. John and Beth the owners make everyone feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble

Both the food and service were fantastic! We had the buffet option which is not like a standard buffet. You can order as many dishes from a set menu as you'd like and they are all cooked fresh for only 17£. This is our top pick for Cantonese food in the city.

Beautifully fresh cooked food, we chose a set menu with a lovely selection of dishes. A little slow on service but not a major issue. As we went on a very quiet day. For a special occasion, perhaps they thought we would prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff. All of our party said we would definitely visit again!
