Decent food a chain pub usual type of meals, and coffee served with a smartie was a nice twist. Just needs a bit of dusting and a bit of tlc around the walls, but still well worth a visit.

Bar staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Food lovely, vast choice available will have to return to try something else. Convenient halfway point between my house and my friend’s house hence the dinner

My wife and I decided to go to the Markeaton Pub to enjoy the night. We were impressed by the wonderful view that the place offers. The atmosphere is cozy and lively with beautiful people. The service was impeccable, the waiters were friendly and quick. The food was divine, we ordered some appetizers and some meat that were mouth-watering. It was an incredible experience, I highly recommend this pub to anyone who wants to have fun and relax.

A lovely pub with really great portion sizes. My partner ordered two starters which was more than enough. There is a designated adorable area for digs with treats and signs which is a great idea. Lots of private tables too. You have to climb quite a few stairs to get to the bathroom but toilets nice and clean. Staff are attentive...they bought me extra gravy for my roast and let me order a smaller portion as I can never manage the larger sizes.

May not be a chic stainless steel pub, but I thought it was brilliant.
The staff were friendly and looked after us with our meals and drinks. Breath of fresh air to be treated like they wanted your custom its a forgotten art these days.
Food was good with a diverse selection and a selection of different ales
All in al,l I would recommend this place and wish it was my local.

We had a delicious salad with chips on the side! Perfect for a summer's day. The waiter was excellent and looked after us very well.

Not been to this pub since lockdown, forgotten how good the food was. Good quality food but at a reasonable price.
I had the roast turkey Sunday dinner and it was amazing, love the red cabbage.
Had sticky toffee pudding for afters.
Large modern clean pub with outdoor area.
Electric car charging point in car park.
Welcoming staff would highly recommend it

Lots of choice on the menu I love that they have a dedicated Vegetatian & Vegan menu as well.
I ordered the Halloumi Burger, not the best I have had and the chips were a bit rubbery however the majority of my family enjoyed their meals and everything was hot.
The staff were nice and it was clean. The toilets were also clean.
