We went today for a celebration breakfast. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Good quality produce, the cooked breakfast was amazing. They accommodated food allergies which is always a bonus. Space was a little tight but there were around 26 adults including a handful of children. The building itself is tastefully decorated. Parking was no issue. Staff were polite and helpful.

We recently had our wedding at Kedleston and we really cannot express enough how seamless the whole process was. Sarita and the whole team, housekeeping, bar staff, kitchen and management were so helpful, ready to answer any questions, they responded quickly to emails and had a list of other suppliers to help in other areas of planning. We stayed the evening before the wedding and were treated so well. Every member of staff were wonderful to us and our guests. The number of compliments people passed on to us about the food on the actual day, both for the main meal and evening was amazing but true. The photos taken both inside and outside were stunning. Throughout the evening we had more people asking if they could join us for breakfast the next morning, we'd like to think it was to see us but I think they were more excited about the full English they were going to get! Truly the number of compliments we have had on how relaxed and how the day flowed so perfectly were really a testament to the whole team and we really cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful day for us and our friends and family.
Today and after a number of years, we returned for a Sunday roast. To be honest, we weren't expecting anything great but Wow, what a nice surprise! My wife had roast pork and I had roast beef - both were fabulous and served with a tray of very tasty vegetables and gravy. The desserts were very good too, and everything was served quickly (but not too quickly), politely and with a smile. Absolutely excellent - there's no doubt we'll be back very soon.
08/10/23: We came back to find the autumn meal was good, but not quite as good as our previous visit in August.
Stayed here with a friend last night, and i can't praise the place or the staff highly enough! The service and stay was impeccable. The food was well presented and tasted lovely, praise to the chef!
As for the staff, Lee and the 2 female staff members who served us (apologies for not knowing your names) couldn't have been more polite, helpful and courteous and are all perfect representative's of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very tasteful and we had a lovely nights stay.
All in all, i would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great room, staff, drinks and dinner. I would definitely look this place up first if I'm staying on the area again. Well done to you all, thankyou

We booked The Kedleston Country House for our wedding in April. Our special day was perfect from start to finish. Sarita was professional and calm from the moment we met her and correspondence was great.
The day ran smoothly, the staff were amazing and the food was beautiful. Our guests said the food was the best they’d had at a wedding. To top it off the sun was shining and we got to enjoy the garden too.
The venue itself is gorgeous and it looks stunning in our professional photos.

We had our Wedding here at Kedleston in May 2023 and the day was nothing short of perfect. Sarita was amazing, handling all our wedding plans from the moment we met up until / on the day.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, a special mention to Lee who went the extra mile and was just so lovely. The venue is amazing, the surroundings are beautiful, the food delicious! We couldn't have wished for a better day, we want to do it all over again! Mr & Mrs Porter x
We had a wonderful stay and meal at Kedleston Country House. Housed in such a beautiful old building, the interior is bright and modern but isn't out of place with the exterior of the building. The food in the restaurant was really good, service was very relaxed at dinner allowing us to enjoy the experience. The breakfast was amazing, so plentiful. We booked the Kedleston suite as a treat, which was beautiful and well worth the money. The roll top bath I really liked as we only have a shower at home!
As for Lee and the rest of the team, we couldn't fault anyone! We were made to feel like we were staying with family. If you want to give yourself real treat visit this wonderful place. It won't be long before we visit again!

We loved our wedding at Kedleston Country House. Beautiful surroundings, fantastic food and drink with experienced, hard-working staff! I loved working with Sarita, the wedding events manager. She was a joy to work with and executed my vision perfectly. Lee and Ellie worked hard to make our wedding seamless and couldn't do enough for us on the day. Everything was on time and went to plan. The owner and staff create such a relaxed atmosphere and really care about good service - Ben was amazing! So many of our guests remarked on how gorgeous the venue is and how good the food was - we're so pleased we chose the Kedleston.
Lovely lunch this afternoon. Menu limited but tasty. Not sure how they can justify charging £3 for a lime and soda though 😱.
We booked a 21st birthday lunch for our daughter and 11 guests and the staff arranged everything very nicely. Decoration and table layout were thoughtful. Staff attentive. Food was tasty and pretty reasonable. Overall it was good value and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel.
