Celebrated my daughter's birthday at the cafe today and enjoyed a lovely savoury afternoon tea with all the trimmings. Can not recommend highly enough. A lovely afternoon shared with family and friends. Thankyou Josie for looking after us and providing delicious treats.

Me and my sister went for lunch today, it was so nice! Homemade and fresh. The quantity you get was shown in the price you pay and what quality you get. The skinny menu is genius! Pudding was outrageously nice and the lady even warmed it through for us. Quaint and well worth a visit! ����
Over the last 4 years I've passed this cafe on the bus while travelling into Derby and thought I will have to try it out when in Spondon. Today was the try it out day and I was blown away with the standard of food for an excellent price. The service was quick and in an excellently clean environment. The staff where fantastic, friendly and jolly. I definitely will come here again. Try it you will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys
Had lunch here and it was fab...I chose a fish finger sandwich which was beautifully presented on a board with a nice salad and crisps. Good service and friendly. Will return!
I had a delicious small breakfast. The sausage and bacon were perfectly cooked. It is clear that they were supplied by a butcher rather than a mass produced product because they retained their size and shape after cooking.
The doorstep toast, beans and mushrooms were tasty additions to the meal.
I also had an interesting conversation with another customer which added to the friendly ambience within the cafe.
It was a shame that I was pressed for time but what a wonderful choice I made to spend my break here.
Our regular Saturday . Dance class, then breakfast here. Lovely place . Great staff.
What can I say, this is a little hidden gem in the middle of Spondon that I only found recently.
It certainly exceeded my expectations, the staff are very welcoming, the owner Josie is particularly friendly.
Onto the food and drink which is incredibly good value, at just under £7 you get 3 generous courses and service with a smile so top marks for that.
The place was very clean and is currently undergoing a refurbishment so I look forward to returning very soon.
I don't really know what else to say other than if you're in the area, please come and check it out, it will be worth it👍
Now changed its name to 'Just one more'. Had a very pleasant lunch in small outside area at back. Nice choice, well presented and pleasantly served
We enjoyed two lovely cooked breakfasts and four lattes today, with great quality ingredients and all cooked to perfection!
Anyone apprehensive about eating out due to covid19 needn't worry here, as the staff do everything to make you feel safe and the hygiene level is of high quality indeed.
Fantastic value food and the staff are really lovely people which makes dining here all the more enjoyable.
The current road-works signage on the road the cafe is located on (11th July 2020) maybe misconstrued that it is not possible to drive past the cafe, which isn't the case as there is access and the cafe is fully open so why not go and treat yourself as we certainly will be again!
Lovely little café. They couldn't do enough for us or make us feel more welcome. They even gave us a free slice of cake because they felt it wasn't up to standard, and we didn't even say anything. 5 stars
Great quality food. Had a three cooked breakfasts and three hot drinks for under £20. Staff are warm and welcoming. No onsite parking as in main village but free public parking nearby. No big tables cozy little rooms. Recommended.
From the moment I walked into this lovely cafe, in spondon.. I suffer massively from social anxiety... The staff welcomed me in, on a cold day, i instantly felt at home.. one of the best flat white coffees I've had and lovely fresh cakes.. many thanks again xx
