Over the last 4 years I've passed this cafe on the bus while travelling into Derby and thought I will have to try it out when in Spondon. Today was the try it out day and I was blown away with the standard of food for an excellent price. The service was quick and in an excellently clean environment. The staff where fantastic, friendly and jolly. I definitely will come here again. Try it you will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys

Had lunch here and it was fab...I chose a fish finger sandwich which was beautifully presented on a board with a nice salad and crisps. Good service and friendly. Will return!

I had a delicious small breakfast. The sausage and bacon were perfectly cooked. It is clear that they were supplied by a butcher rather than a mass produced product because they retained their size and shape after cooking. The doorstep toast, beans and mushrooms were tasty additions to the meal. I also had an interesting conversation with another customer which added to the friendly ambience within the cafe. It was a shame that I was pressed for time but what a wonderful choice I made to spend my break here.
