Were do I start??? We ordered the Sunday lunch platter.. The Beef was beautiful and the Cooked Ham was succulent and went down beautifully.... Now i love Yorkshire Puddings and i normally have 3 or 4 but i only need ONE on my plate as it was that big... The Veg was unique in the fact the running beans were still in there shell but that is Chef Liam Holmes Style. We both decided our bellies were not full enough after dinner, so we both had Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream. The Brownie was moist but firm and the ice cream didnt just melt it stood in its ball allowing us to slowly tear it apart. If I could give 6 stars I would because the food was that DAMN GOOD!!!

Came here after it was recommended by a work colleague. Excellent food and also excellent service, staff were very helpful and polite and nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Keep up the good work guys, cheers��

Visited here on way down to Cornwall. Went has had good reviews and is dog friendly. Was worth a visit. Old fashioned pub feel was really nice. Brilliant food even our dog got treated by one of the young ladies and one of the regulars treated her too. I had a delicious burger partner had Sunday dinner beef ummmm.

Visited when attending a gathering after a burial service at nearby St Edmunds Church. A very good spread and a lovely atmosphere despite the occasion. The staff worked hard to provide us with an extremely good time.

Beautiful gluten free food , the pizza was so good I was worried that they’d accidentally given me the regular one but nope it was just extremely well made. Friendly staff and nice chilled atmosphere, would definitely go again

Unbeatable value. For £45 you or I can have a starter plus a main course from the small plates menu. Thats around the same price as a lunch at other local pubs. Except...this is £45 for a whole week, 5 starters and 5 main courses from the small plates menu (basically a business lunch menu). So thats why i am back again today. Cant beat it. And im not being paid to write this, just feel it needs to be put out there as it is fantastic value. Yesterday was liver and bacon, today was chicken breast in cream sauce.both lovely and served by attentive staff. Pate starter both days. absolutely superb both days.

Some go out because they can't cook, some go out because they can't be bothered to cook. Some can cook well. Non would be disappointed. Truly enjoyed the food. As will you. I would have taken the time to take photos of the food, but looked too nice. You would have done the same.
