Popped in for a quick bite..if you want fresh home cooked and filling food this is the place for you! Thought nachos would be light but wow the portions are so generous . Everything is made fresh, the guacamole the salsa even the jalapenos are boiled and pickled by them. Amazing experience!!! Thanky
I have just been to El Contador for a quick lunchtime snack..... wow... that was no snack, the portion of Nachos was amazing with layers of Nachos, Pork, cheese and salad. THE BEST Mexican food in Derby. An awesome independent business. Fresh ingredients, flavoursome menu and healthy options all round. All for a very reasonable price! I would recommend the “burrito bowl” for a hearty-but-healthy lunch or dinner.

Ordered 2 taco lunch boxes, 1 chicken and 1 pulled pork. Dressings of guacamole and salsa, both with rice and beans. The food was amazing, portions plenty and for 100% gluten free they were cheap! Will definitely be paying a visit for their sit down meal on 29th December
This place is amazing!! I had chicken nachos. Big portions and good prices. I heard so many good things before I tried it for myself and I was not disappointed. The guy who owns it was really friendly and lovely to chat to. I will definitely be back!
