I have been going here for over 30 years. The food is always first class but recently the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. I had Chicken meat and chips on the 30th September, the portion size hardly filled half of the box. I shouldn't really have to have 3 slices of bread and butter with it, especially when the meal cost me £6-50.

This place is famous for their chips in Derby, the Fish and chips are therfore superb and pretty reasonably price, the Burger meat is nice and fresh and well cooked (not cardboard) they do. Come with a lottt of salad so remember if ur not into that to tell them, Good old skool chippy 😊😊👌

The chips are excellent and the homemade fish cakes is delicious. I got very full of a regular portion of chips (£2) and a the fish cake (£1). The quality and portions are excellent. Opening times are ideal too. My chippy at home is always shut when I want it.
