Very friendly staff. Excellent food the fish just melts in your mouth. Very clean premises. I always used the one in Hetherton village. Same quality food. The standard are very high. No one can match them on their excellent food. JB

Has to be one of the best, if not the best chip shop in Derby. Always fresh and delicious with generous portions at reasonable prices. Heard an old chap complaining at the price of large chips, large fish and a piece of chicken being over £10. He must think it's still the 20th century 😂
Great menu with all the options for cockles and pickles etc. A must try for a side is their halloumi bites. Absolutely incredible.
Their fried chicken is an absolute must too. Their own recipe for the batter. Much nicer than KFC and much better value.
The portions are huge so a small chips between two with two fish and halloumi bites is more than an enough for two with good appetites.

We visited this chippy after walking 20 miles. I had large sausage and chips and couldn't fault it. Decent sized portion and good value for money; simple food done very well. Some of our group had battered halloumi bites and fish and we're very happy with it. The batter looked very light.

I don't have take out very often, so when I do I expect quality and good service, which is all you get here. The staff are lovely, the place as a real 'family feel' to it, they're always cheerful, and the service is SO fast too!. These guys put the big fast food chains to shame with the speed of service and food quality. Shop is very clean, Covid procedures always followed, great big menu. A real gem of a chippy.
