A really good experience diagnosed well and get the right treatment, I went there on Wednesday after getting appointment on phone in emergency, staff is good and nice , waiting time was almost half an hour . A female dr singh is an excellent person and ofcourse a dr as well. Treated me so nicely and listen the whole problem patiencely I am so grateful 🙏. I felt like behaviour is really really important more than medicines for a patient which works like a magic sometimes. It can make easy to understand the problems and issues of health system for a new person like me , recently moved from Spain , and so many unexpected things were going on , and I was getting more sick mentally than physically.

I had enough problems with the 8th tooth that it was impossible to simply pull it out. I needed surgery. Department for ORAL AND MAXILLO FACIAL SURGERY was the best. The nurses took great care of me and were all polite and kind. They did a great job. The surgeon also performed an operation on my jaw. Everything ended very well. I am incredibly glad that it was in this place that I had surgery and now I can have a full life. The surgeon was a professional. I want to say thank you🙏

I always choose this hospital as its the hospital I know and near to where I live. I've never had many problems with the hospital itself only that finding a car parking space can take a while depending on the time you visit so always allow yourself plenty of time beforehand.

Well done A&E on a busy shift last night. Dr John... former engineer is all I can remember - had a lovely bedside manner. Someone please find him and say thank you.

I recently had my second child at Derby hospital after a previous child at Burton and I just want to say how fantastic all the staff were who looked after me, especially Hannah who was with me for my labour and birth, she was so supportive, friendly and kind. As we're all the staff who helped to look after us. Midwives, doctors and everyone we saw during our stay. They all made the experience very comftable and special for us and I I felt very well cared for. Hayley Joe Jaxon & baby Esme 😊

Maternity team were absolutely fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and very fast to react. The team work really well with one another and overall 10/10 for the experience. The rooms on the Maternity ward were clean and well outfitted with the tools required whatever the situation with the birth. My only negative is that the NHS are still using paper, pens and stickers as the record keeping. It's 2023. Collaborative tablets would allow better detail, images, bar code scanning, scheduling, alerting, integration with monitoring equipment. At the moment it's all reliant on a person to remember to put a sticker or a note on a piece of paper and hope their handwriting is legible. Come on NHS, hand written notes were the solution in the 1950's, not 2023!

I went to A&E twice and was dealt with respecfully and did not wait a ridiculous amount of time. Everyone I met was professional and lovely with me. The GAU dept rang me the next morning promptly and gave me a same day appointment. I'm from Birmingham originally and my experience here in Derby was far better

My husband was admitted to a&e after a fall from height. From the ambulance crew, who arrived within 10 mins, to the team in a&e we can't thank you enough. Special thanks to ward 208 for their care and attention while in their care, they all were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I've spent enough time with regular trips to hospitals to know which ones suck because of the lack of funding and which ones just suck. Derby is great. The staff genuinely seem to care. They are patient and kind. One of the best hospitals I've been in, and I've spent a lot of time visiting hospitals.
