Our local pub and the place we chose to have our wedding meal, so it holds a special place in our hearts. Always polite and friendly service and food is lovely.

Visited last year in august before I was going to the Peak District. Long que to order food as the restaurant was really busy, really enjoyed the food came quite quickly after ordered.

We nipped into the lodge today to get our children something for lunch. The staff were so friendly and showed us the children area that has been done for children to watch a film and play board games. This made the overall experience of eating out so easy, even better with juice for the children. We will definitely be back and thanks so much for making a lunch a little easier.

Went with my daughters family which included 2 small children, age 2 & 4. We all agreed the food was lovely each having something different. There was 7 cleared plates at the table. Including the children's! My 1 and only fault was the waiting. Not enough staff in any area. Drinks took ages as a long queue at the bar. Food took a very long time also. The few staff looked stressed and rushed off their feet. But overall it was delicious.

Food was tasty and hot, the staff and service was swift and friendly unfortunately we were there for a birthday party but ended up joining their quiz night as we couldn't really converse under the speakers where our reserved table was sited

We came here for Father's Day meal our first one without my Mum, food was delicious as usual, staff friendly, only marked a star down for staff due to all our meals coming out but my husband had to wait for his a bit longer, that was only a minor point though as food was good and staff were apologetic, thank you for making this hard Father's Day a good day x

Regular attendance from my family and I to this establishment. Can always count on affordable food and drink with a quick order to service time.
Ordering via the app makes things easier when it's busy but it's always just as easy to go to the bar when it's not.
Menu changes regularly with new items and the large sharing meals are great value for money.

Had a great meal for my dads birthday today. Food came out piping hot, and was lovely. There was a little wait for the food, but not an issue when comes out like it did.
The gent behind the bar (tall, black shirt) was lovely, polite and very accommodating. Also seemed to be on his own behind there for the majority of the time we were there, and managed very well while it was quite busy.
