Absolutely delicious, highly highly recommend! Just had an incredible lunch here, we had the gyoza, beef curry and spicy chicken and it was all so good, tasty and filling. Also the ginger everything is served with is👌

A lovely new addition to the Derby food scene, delicious home style cooking and a good drinks selection.
The menu is simple and well thought out, and everything we tasted was great.
Competitively priced, we shared starters, then had mains and a drink for ~£16 per person.
At the time of writing this review it is cash only, so go prepared. There is also a vacancy within, so I'd suggest letting the proprietor know when you arrive if you've a train to catch in the immediate future.
Once those two minor inconveniences are ironed out (and that is all they are, minor inconveniences) I'd love to see this restaurant go from strength to strength.

Arrived much quicker than estimated, very polite delivery. The monster seafood sushi was out of this world deliciousness and a very good size. My chicken yakisoba was a very generous portion and flawless and the gyōzas were perfect. Will be ordering again!
Having only just opened, I was very excited to try out this cafe. as I'm quite a big fan of Japanese food. It was absolutely amazing. The beef donburi was so tender, edamame beans were perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. I'll also add to the other review praising the Goyza. I look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future!
It was our first time ordering a takeaway from Sakura Valley and we had a lovely family meal at home with the takeaway. The service was brilliant and the food was really delicious. We will definitely be ordering again.
First time in Derby and if Sakura Valley's food is reflective of the city, I'll be back very soon! Amazing food, the vegetable gyoza in particular were incredible. Salmon Teriyaki also a winner. Newly opened last Friday and once word gets around, this will be a real gem in the area. Thanks for a wonderful dinner, Anthony!
The food was so fresh and tasty! Having come back from Japan recently its was nice to taste the food again! Really recommend plus helping a local business become established!

Due to the lockdown I got the takeaway service. Food was really good, fresh tasting and authentic and very good sushi.
