Had Saffron for outside catering for my wife's 40th birthday party at home,it was a great experience iy took the stress out of organising food,all the guests loved the food and was great service from start to finish would highly recommend, thank you Suki and team.

I ordered their sagg chicken and chicken jalfrezi, both medium hot. Along with their nann, chapati, rice and poppadoms. EVERYTHING was so nice. I will definitely be ordering again. Thanks.

Seen to right away and shown to our table. Very relaxed atmosphere and we were all very happy and comfortable with the staff and ambience. Good portion sizes and beautiful tasting food!!! 😋 I forgot to take photos before we all tucked in as the smell was too enticing

Best Indian in Derry. My family like Indian food I'm not a great or should I say wasn't!! When I order or ask for advice on how spicy the food is, they are honest, if I ask for it to be made with my diet specifications it's never a bother. Suki is very pleasant, he does the cooking as well as being down at the front, meeting greeting customers as well as working with his staff and doing what has to be done. A place which hasn't disappointed me or others.

We popped in here for a takeaway after 10pm on a Saturday night. The staff were lovely. We had excellent advice on dietary requirements and were invited to enjoy a glass of wine while the food was prepared, which was a thoroughly pleasant experience. The food was delicious.

Had our first ever take-away from Saffron last night - 27 Nov. Two mains & two sides, £15. It was fantastic. The flavours, quantity & quality all on point. Its possible they may have upped their game as some of the older reviews aren't great and comment on poor sauce and meat quality. We honestly couldnt fault it. Very pleasant man on the phone when ordering also. Would definitely order again in future.

Really nice food. Its different to what we're used to but it was nice. Wife had a mango cocktail which she loved. The place was spotless and the staff very friendly.

We had yet to have Indian food on our Ireland trip so I was excited when I saw this was one of the top rated restaurants in Derry on Yelp.
We went for an early dinner and the restaurant want better crowded when we got there. We were seated right away.
This was probably the best Indian food I've ever had. We did two meal deals (starter and main course for 17 pounds). For starters we got the Chicken Pakora and Vegetable Samosas. The Chicken Pakora was just ok, but the Samosas were very good. For our main courses we got the Karahi Curry with lamb and the Makhan Tikka which came with chicken. Both were incredibly delicious. I think I preferred the Karahi Curry only because the chicken was a little dry and the lamb was much better, but both sauces were very good. For our sides we got rice and cheesey garlic naan. I highly recommend the cheesey garlic naan -- it was delicious.
Our food was a little slow to come out, but our service was good. We had two different servers recommend the dishes we ended up getting as our main course and we were very happy with them.
I would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area!

The food was excellent, and the staff was so friendly. My wife and I mentioned we were on our honeymoon, and they went out of their way to make it a special night for us. One of the staff had a heart drawn on our dessert plate, and she chatted with us about how we were enjoying Ireland, and where we were going on the rest of our trip. Unfortunately, we don't really have anyone to recommend them to, so this review is the best we can do. Thank you for a memorable night!
