I Hadn't been to the Mandarin Palace in years and can safely say I will be definitely eating there more often. The food was super tasty and the service was great. The portion sizes are massive and the staff are friendly.
They cook very slowly. Tom yum soup is similar to it, but definitely not the same. Boiled dumplings are not tasty. We waited an hour for a kid’s hot dog (just a bun and a sausage) and chips. The prawns were tasteless, the chef apparently …
Food ordered for delivery, some of the order was wrong. Had to wait another 35mins for the correct order. Got a call from the takeaway to send back the food that I shouldn't have received as the chef didn't know what the problem was. Food was dry and poor quality.
I went here with a party of 35 people and it wasn't a problem for them at all.
The quality of the food was fantastic and everyone thought so.
I had never been before and I will return, really nice all round.
Clean tidy and cozy
I've ordered honey beef, chiken chinese style, onion ring. Beef was fine but came in cold. Onion ring was so disgusting I almost puked in one bite. Chicken chinese style i couldn't ate it after one bite too. Hope I will not get sick 🤞 …
A very busy spot on a Sunday evening! We had a short wait for a table in a comfy seating area. Food was excellent. The staff were great and seemed to be working very hard indeed. We really enjoyed the whole experience.
