Lovely cafe, we dropped in for tea and cake to avoid a shower in the morning and liked it so much we went back in the afternoon for more! I'd never heard of 'Belfast tea' before but it was lovely and and made me remember what a proper cup of tea should taste like.

10 out of 5! My wife and I visited the area from Canada and wandered through the craft gallery/courtyard. The cottage is so charming so we decided to stop in for lunch. The food was so good and the scones are absolutely sensational, no wonder they’re consistently winning best scone in Europe. The food and atmosphere was so fantastic that we visited three days in a row (would’ve been back for our fourth day in the are but they were closed Sunday). Upon our return visits they recognized us and we were treated like family. They took the time to chat with us each day and made us feel so welcome. If we lived in the Derry area we’d be here daily! You’d be foolish to not stop here for anything on the menu but you MUST try the raspberry and white chocolate scones!

Great place for a coffee, scone, soup or a nice toastie. Hidden away from the main street this place is a wee gem to step away from the traffic and relax for a bit. You have to try this place. We go every time we go to Derry.

Picture perfect coffee shop tucked away off the main street, super friendly staff and very busy with locals and tourists alike. Crepes seem to be one of the main offerings both savory and sweet, I am not a fan of crepes and as savory options are limited on the menu, I ended up with a salad which was a little disappointing... wish I had ordered the toastie option. I would return though for coffee and cake which looked delicious!!

Go here! Met some family for a cuppa and ended up getting some scones. To say they were delicious would be an understatement. The staff were amazing, particularly their star baker who kindly spent some time talking to our parents about making a decent scone. Coffee also good and really nice outdoor setting. Make this a stop in your tour of Derry!

I’ve past this place several times and never eaten here so today I had some free time this afternoon and decided to have a cuppa and a scone here! Inside the craft village it’s a lovely location in the heart of the city! Lots of tourists here today. It was one of the hottest days so far so lots of people were eating outdoors. I found a cool spot and enjoyed my tea. Ordered and paid indoors and they bring your order out for you. Good service (and it was very busy!) Best homemade scones I’ve ever had! - light, perfectly baked and served with butter/ jam and cream. Good quality tea Reasonable prices Highly recommend

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I think this might be my new go-to place for a quick bite while shopping (or sightseeing) in Derry city! What a gorgeous little spot! Situated in a thatched cottage within the Craft Village in Derry's Shipquay Street (the steep street leading up to the Diamond), it is definitely what I would call a "hidden gem". There are a number of different sized tables, including a large one for a group of up to 8 people. A really cosy area beside the old fireplace is where we sat. You have to order at the counter and they give you a number marker for your table. They then bring your order to you when it's ready. Serving sandwiches and light bites, with the most sumptuous scones with jam and cream; also a range of coffees, teas and soft drinks. Highly recommended is their raspberry and white chocolate scone! So delicious! My daughter tried the mini pancakes which she said were divine. Service was speedy, despite it being very busy! Appeared to havw a mixed clientele of locals and tourists. There is also large covered area with plenty of tables outside in the Craft Village courtyard.

Lovely decoration and vintage aesthetic, staff are nice and food came quickly. The mini pancakes were delicious and were lovely as a quick treat. There is a range of savoury and sweet crepe options here as well, will be coming back for another great experience again

Absolutely fantastic. Best scones I've ever had (award winning in Ireland). Also lovely crepes with a side salad and they make sandwiches and daily fresh soup. Coffee is excellent, owner & staff are so kind and generous. Just wonderful!
