Lo & Slo

I don’t have enough good words to say about Lo & Slo. These guys are just incredible at what they do. We got in touch with them about supplying food at our wedding in the evening and from the start Emily and Norman were amazing to deal with. And the food! Wow! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. Really decent portion sizes aswell. The hardest part was choosing what to have from their menu. I’ll be craving the taste for a long time. Also have bought the vinegar mop sauce and it’s so yummy. 10/10 would recommend Lo & Slo for quality, taste, professionalism and being all round nice people to boot.

We had Lo & Slo catering the day 2 of our wedding (around 100 people) and they were a huge hit with our guests. The food was delicious - we hadn’t actually tried them before booking but we had several recommendations which turned out very well for us! Menu gave loads of choice and it was hard just to pick 2, but I think we went for the right ones, 1 American at the wedding said it was the best philly cheese steak she’d ever had, the pulled chicken/veggie loaded chips were perfect and with the sauce selection on offer (including at least 10 different srirachas) everyone was able to spice it up to their own tastes! Price was very reasonable for what they provided and we would be quick to recommend them for catering events of any size. Lovely friendly people to deal with and very quick to respond to emails/flexible with changes in numbers.

When I was visiting Derry, I had a chance to try Sweet & Smoky Barbecue Sauce and it was amazing! Absolutely phenomenal for bbq, or burgers, or even scrambled eggs on toast.The depth of the flavour is beautiful! It became one of my favourite condiments ever and I only wish I could get it in Galway somewhere! I must try the food truck next time I'm there, I've heard great things.

Despite crowds of thousands at the Clipper festival in Derry , myself and several family members sampled a variety of Lo&Slo options.. each one superb. I was particularly wowed today by the Cajun ham sliders. So so unique & absolutely the best quality food we sampled at the festival today. I’m excited to see what this fab company creates next. Compliments to the chef’s, staff and owner serving with the most friendly atmosphere. You have gained a family of reoccurring, happy customers and we can’t wait to return again! Amazgin sauces and foods. The Vinegar Mop is good on so many things - salads, stir frys... Here's a pic of some of the beautiful pastrami from Lo&Slo on some sourdough from Scarpellos - amazing combo! More than the amazing food it's the heart and passion of Emily and Norman for people that makes Lo&Slo so special.
