Food is lovely - good price.
Staff really helpful & attentive.
Cake was a little dry - seemed to have been out on the side a while…
However I would definitely return.
First time here, driven passed a fair few times and always said we need to visit, really good size garden centre, cute little play area for the kids, really nice café /restaurant, don't think the prices were too bad, the food was really nice though and plenty of space even on a Saturday lunchtime.
Took my 4 year old niece and her friend to look at the Christmas displays. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the restaurant, although there was a bit of a wait in line when we got to the front and the girls chose their cakes, I said I would need a pre wrapped as I'm gluten free (I have coeliac disease). To my absolute surprise the server said they had fresh 'proper' cakes which were stored with lids and completely separate tongs. I was SO excited as I'm so used to either going without or having a prepacked offering. The cake was so lovely. The girls had a lovely time playing in the outdoor park area which is pirate themed. Its a shame its outdoor as it was raining on and off during the day and all the equipment was wet.
We spent 2.5 hours there and the girls didn't get bored! The Christmas lights and decorations were so pretty and the trains, dancing/singing Christmas tree and zip wire snowman kept them entertained.
I give 5 stars to Karen who works on house plants 🪴. I have house plants that should flower but not since I bought them before lockdown spoke to Karen who gave me good advice and you should see the flowers I am so happy. So if you want good advice see Karen.
What a great experience for the whole family. The Enchanted Forest amd Santa's Grotto were one of the best we've seen. The children get a decent gift and the Santa was very good. Their selection of plants, household items and Christmas decor was varied and different from the average garden centre and the cafe was lovely.
Fantastic garden centre, really helpful staff. We went to buy a garden dining set and there is so much choice! We were helped by a gentleman who showed us all the options based on our needs, we left with a great set in less than half an hour. Will come back to check their plants as they seem to have a lot of choice. The restaurant looked great too!
Nice garden centre got most things you need. We had coffee and food. my wife had cheese and bacon toasted Sandwich which came with salad and coleslaw and looked well presented. I on the other hand had eggs florentine and what can I say the best poached eggs I have had in a very long time and even though the café was busy the food arrived in 5 minutes... The staff where very polite and helpful we will definitely be returning. Thank you old barn
A pit stop for lunch at the Old Barn Nursery, on our way from Weybridge to Rustington seaside.
A lovely Cafe with all day dining. We had the All English Breakfast, Ham and cheese toastie, Jacket potato with baked beans, sausages and mash and the tomato mozzarella pesto panini.
Portions are a good size and food was tasty. A great stop to relax and all ready for our journey ahead !
More than I expected to see with a lovely children's play area attached to the cafe, where you can watch your children while having tea and cake!
A really good selection of hot food/meals and lighter bites.
The Malvern range of garden cabins were impressive and well displayed.
