Recently visited for a family meal with our young children.
Staff were incredibly welcoming; friendly and accomodating and service was prompt. Ambience of the pub was lovely, and the food itself was delicious. Already booked a table leading up to the Chrismas period with family and have no hesitation that our next visit will be as lovely. See you soon! 😀

Went back after a negative experience last week. Couldn't fault this evening! Service was lovely by David and Jess! I learnt it was David's second shift and he was professional, he was also polite and smiling. (Unlike some of his younger colleagues) a smile goes a long way!

We love our local,
We visit weekly and regularly enjoy the different events they run each week. The staff are lovely and will always greet myself and my son by name.

Absolutely great atmosphere today, great food and service polite young man who served us (Lewis) was very helpful and always smiling. The manager came over (Jenny) we had a lovely chat and made us feel very welcome we are new to Didcot. We will definitely be coming back soon Thank You

Me and my son love to come here of an afternoon/evening for dinner. He loves to play outside on the equipment and enjoys a yummy dinner. All the staff are generally friendly, but in particular we have recently had great service from Emma. She is always very helpful when we visit. It's nice to walk through the door and be greeted with a smile.

Reasonable priced food, with a good selection to choose from. We were served by someone called Emma (long brown hair with fringe) who was very accommodating and helpful with the little one I was with. Was nice to see her be acknowledged, and Emma went out of her way to find extra crayons for her colouring in. I was even told "I like her" by the little one.
I keep getting asked when we are going again?, as never had a chance to go outside on this flying visit. But we will definitely be back!

Highly recommend, had my daughters birthday party here the food and service was amazing! They went above and beyond gave us a section of the pub so kids could play party games and have their face painted. Everyone had the best time!

Being able to order on the app has made a huge difference to service time. The good is as usual nothing to write home about but it's a decent pub with decent enough grub. Isn't going to win a Michelin star but well worth it for the pizza and garden if the weather allows.

We are not from the area but was visiting friends when we went in for a drink. The staff were so friendly and patient, especially Louise with blond hair and a tattoo sleeve. My daughter loved the play area so we spent all outside. It was well kept and tidy. Fantastic experience. Will definitely be back next time we visit.

I came here with my step son and the member of staff behind the bar Lou was so friendly and welcoming. She was so patient with my step son as he is autistic. Helped him choose food and drink. The play around is a really good place for children to take out their energy and the family around is fun as well.
Lou needs to be rewarded for her work. Couldn't go through a normally stressful day out without her. Thank you so much.
