Staff are good and its open which is handy, perfectly fine pizza. My only issue is pizza comes with a "special garlic sauce" which does not taste of garlic and seems to be margarine... What's going on with that? Not good.

Genuinely quite a bit nicer than other papa John's places I've ordered from. The delivery was in the expected time, the delivery driver was friendly and polite, and the food was tasty and hot on arrival. I don't think you can ask for much more than that.

I was heading to see friends and taking pizza for us for an early 5:30pm dinner. I hadn't tried any of the pizza places in Didcot, but had enjoyed Papa John's a few times in Reading over the years. So despite the less than brilliant reviews & ratings the Didcot branch has on Google and TripAdvisor, I decided to go for it.
I ordered through the app, which was easy.
choosing the £28.99 deal- two large "The Works" pizzas, two sides and a bottle of Pepsi Max. You can track your order progress on the app and so I arrived to collect my order a couple minutes after I was notified it was ready.
It took 15 minutes to drive to my friends place, so I put the food in an insulated bag to keep it hot before we tucked in.
The pizza, we all agreed, was good!
Still hot, nicely topped, well cooked, tasty and not greasy .
The sides were decent too, tater tots and Jalapeño poppers.
For 4 of us, there was plenty to eat.
We couldn't fault the food at all and based on this experience, we'd all be happy to order from here again. 👍🏻🍕😋

I've tried several times this "not so good reviewed" (2.8 stars) Papa John's Pizza in Didcot. I am not from Oxfordshire, just contracting in this area time to time. However, I am absolutely satisfied with both the service and the product of this shop. I have ordered at least 6 times in the last few months before decided to rate/comment this place. As many of us Im also looking for a good deal when comes to order any fast foods and Papa John's Pizza in Didcot just now offered a very good deal for collection. A large pizza for £7.99! Again, it was not a first time for me to receive goods from this place and I have to tell you that I have not been disappointed! The ingredients are fresh and generously topped my pizza that is rarely seen at any other well-known brands. Love the taste and the kind service that's came with smile every time. Thank you and please keep it up this excellent work!

We ordered from papa Johns in didcot 5pm on Saturday and requested asap delivery. It arrived at 5:30pm to our pleasant surprise! We were missing a dip, but that was all to complain about! The pizzas were great, and good value with the offer (£25 for two pizzas, two sides and drink). It was nice to see the plentiful vegan options, particularly the inclusion of vegan sausage on the menu. Will be ordering again!

Went here on 22nd November 2019 and the pizza was fantastic. I am really surprised by the poor reviews but management must have changed.
This was the best Papa John's I've had. Pizza loaded with toppings nicely spread and perfectly cooked.
It looks like the manager was the chef, the guy is doing a cracking job.

I ordered a dleivery, the driver was very friendly and the food arrived quickly. All the food was very tasty, my only complaint being that there was not a lot of cheese, and the crust was very thick. overall still a very fine pizza. I'll order again!
Ordered again. Pizza came very fast and was much better prepared than last time. Nothing on the order missed including no cheese on one of the pizzas.

Regular customer. Never had any issues. Always on time stated or earlier. Usually order Margherita, pepperoni and the works. All three very fresh and tasty. Not sure why so many people are unhappy....

We've had about 10 pizzas from here since they opened. All collection. Always enjoyable. Well made, on time and the price is 2nd to non. Let's just see how competitive they are in a few months when all the new site discounts end. Can't understand all the low scores. Must all be from their first few days.
