Very disappointing! After our visit 2 years ago we made a beeline for this particular shop (came from Newport) but this time not a patch on previous. Fish was nice but batter soggy, had to wait a while and when served up there weren’t enough chips so then had to wait a couple more minutes for more to be ready and when they were they were ‘just about’ ready, very pale and soft - by our standards they were undercooked. Lady serving was abrupt and seemed distracted, needed reminding what we had ordered and lacked customer service skills. Maybe they were just having a bad day but very disappointed and won’t be returning next time. 😔
