On a day out in Dinas Dinlle, we decided to have our lunch at The Surfer Chippy . I read the reviews before I visited this chippy and they seemed good. Regarding the location ,the chippy is well located right by local amenities. There is a free car park and free public toilets 🚻 close by,which are very clean. The beach ⛱️ is very close too. It is a beautiful location. Regarding our food. We order fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 and curry sauce. The food arrived very quickly, the fish was really tasty, moist and a decent size. The chips were very good, and the curry sauce was tasty. Overall, I'd say the food was really nice and I'd definitely recommend eating there. Prices are reasonable, and there's an ice cream 🍦 shop next door that sells delicious ice cream. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch 😋

We had some lovely food while sat on the sea front. Although I found it to be pricey (2x fish chips and sauce, 1 sausage and 3x drinks for just over £28) I simply didn't mind just from the simple fact that it was absolutely delicious, the lady who served us was really lovely. And the location was great. It was a delicious treat to our stay locally.

Our favourite chippy in our favourite area of Wales. Lovely service, ordered for 5 people and served within 10 minutes. The food, as always, was lovely. Coming from a large English city we felt the prices were reasonable. We'll be back, as we are every year. Diolch.

Great cod and chips. Super clean shop and a delight to eat watching the sun go down. (After reading the hilarious review from Emily Pitts I reckon you guys should get a blackboard sign that says “Worlds worst Fish and Chips according to one woman’s review on Google”. 😂

Why am I giving everything here 5 stars you may ask; well… Let’s start it with the lady who served me, she was really polite also helping me make my mind up with what to get I promise the older I get the more difficult it is too choose, she also made me feel so welcome in this chippy I was only down there for the bank holiday and it felt like home. She was very funny cracking jokes until my tummy hurt very kind lady we need more people like her in this generation. The food was very hot and tasted like a good old chippy should taste, beautiful food worth every penny spent and made my day one to remember! Will be back next time I’m down!

It's our second season in this area. I'm addicted to salt and pepper fries with cheese from that place. A moment ago we bought 3 dishes (fish and chips, nugets with chips, sausage in butter, chips with cheese) and my beloved large (actually they were huge - I couldn't handle it) salt and paper fries with cheese. We paid £27. I think it is a very reasonable price in a seaside place. Honestly, it annoys me a lot to read these comments about exorbitant prices. It is no one's fault that prices have gone up and we are going through an economic crisis. If I can't afford something, I buy less, or I save by not buying a drink etc. The four of us (not small people with big appetites) didn't finish any of our dishes. It will be reheated for later. We are super pleased, it was tasty, big, quick and good price. We always recommend this place to everyone who stays at the same campsite as we do. Never heard any disappointment. See you soon. P.s. and the best view during our meal.

Overall, a nice chippy. We had 2 portions of large chips and a 2 large sausages. Found it quite expensive in all honesty but I suppose that’s what it costs at the seaside during the summer months. Not much change of £20. Chips themselves were tasty and cooked well a bit heavy on the salt for the kids but spot on for me 😂. The sausage was a usual chippy sausage, so nothing to complain about! 3 x carton kids drink and 2 x cans of pop. Requested a couple of extra trays so that we could portion out the chips between kids but were met with a 20 pence per tray charge. Excessive considering the price really.

Read the negative reviews and ignore them all, the food was cooked fresh, the chips were the fluffiest chips I've had, the fish was white and flaky with just the right amount of crispy batter. Wife had the cheese, leek and potato pie with chips and she is in total agreement, even the dog agreed, wolfing down her sausage with gusto. A perfect 10 out of 10, can't wait for tomorrow 😄

Great food, called in a couple of times as we were staying in Dinas Dinlle. It was busy on both occasions but the food was great, well cooked & the staff are friendly enough. I think it was good value for money & a bonus to enjoy the food on the sea front....
