Best take away Indian food we've ever had. The Raj fish dish (big juicy prawns) was beautiful. The thali, both veggie and meat versions, were amazing and sooooo much for your money. One was easily enough for two to share with a few extra sides. Oh, and they gave us a free bottle of cobra each to go with! Enough food left over to make kedgeree for brekkie the next day too! Winner, winner curry for dinner and breakfast! 🤣

Always top quality dishes, full of flavour and staff are friendly. The menu is quite unique and the restaurant is very clean and modern. We always enjoy a meal here and it is definitely one of the best in South Wales. The price is also very reasonable and you will think you’ve enjoyed this much more than certain Indian restaurant in Cardiff that cost you twice as much but give you half of the portion. Highly recommended!
Excellent food, good service, great value for money
The food is fantastic! Do not buy Shandy's here as you get the whole bottle of beer and pay extra for the lemonade. So your drinking the whole bottle regardless. Very cosy.
Last minute visit as we couldn't get a table elsewhere after bonfire night display. This was my third visit and I have to be honest I've never had a bad meal here... the price is a bit high but the food is amazing, portions aren't to big and not to small but the price is a bit much. But if I want Indian again this is definitely where I would go

Fantastic food, good value, plenty of space inside, family friendly.
It was our first visit to The Royal India. The service was excellent with the ataff being very friendly and the food was really nice and served within a reasonable time. It definitely visit again. My only concern with the place is the lack of parking but due to the location there isn't anything that can be improved here. Booking wasn't needed which is a bonus.
Large party but no problem and my Bengal Fish Curry was excellent. There are few parking spaces so be prepared to find one nearby.
