I visited The Castle Inn after my visit to the stunning Dirleton castle & gardens, looking for a nice, soothing meal. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is lovely and cozy. The food was not only beautifully presented, it tasted extraordinary. You can tell the kitchen loves what they are doing and
We just managed to get dinner as we arrived at 7.40pm and last orders were 7.45pm which slightly surprised us considering it was a Saturday night but our food was fab-my husband's fish and chips looked beautiful and I enjoyed my scampi and chips. The desserts were fab too. Our room was lovely and sp
Nice pub, good selection of food. We have been here a couple of times whilst on holiday. The Cullen & skink is delicious! My husband had the seafood platter which was lovely. Nice friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
The Castle Inn is located in the beautiful village of Dirleton just on the edge of the very well maintained green. It has a superb menu, and a lovely selection of beers and wines. Food was served quickly, and was delicious. Staff were very friendly and very attentive. Great value for money.

I recently had the pleasure of filming at The Castle Inn in Dirleton, East Lothian and it surpassed all of my expectations. Located in the charming village of Dirleton, this 19th century coach house offers a truly picturesque setting, nestled between the seaside villages of Gullane and North Berwick
Good food and large portions. Good friendly service. Dog friendly.

Lovely pub on the village green with parking directly to the front. Very quiet in the pub with very few people there even in the early evening. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent seating area inside and in the walled garden. Other customers were equally engagingly interested in a quick hello. Good vibe. My wife's Crispy Bacon and Crayfish salad was 5*, but my large Fish and Chips looked good but was a 3* at best. Chips w

Simple, but delicious menu. We have visited a number of times and they have never failed to impress. There's also a daily specials board, featuring a daily soup and a number of special mains. Very friendly and attentive service. 110% recommend!
