We had the most amazing meal last night ,the staff were so friendly and very busy but made sure we were very well looked after .

Went in for lunch on the recommendation of our hosts, and were not disappointed. My wife & I had roasts (Beef & Pork) and our son had a burger. The food was excellent and the roasts were massive, especially the Yorkshires. the staff were friendly and they allow dogs too.

Lunch with family and dog. Wonderful place, glad we have discovered it. Lovely owners, fish pie to do die for. Have now rediscovered how much I enjoy poached pears. We will be back!

Great service, great menu and great food plus dog friendly - all big ticks in my book. My friend had 3 starters instead of a main because she couldn't choose and was delighted by them all. I had the lamb shank and was not disappointed. I recommend making a reservation!

Had great meal with friends. Nice small selection of fresh meals using seasonal ingredients. I loved my calamari starter which was lovely and clean tasting with no fishy after taste. Butter milk chicken burger was moist and tasty too. All finished up with delicious apple crumble with the most yummy custard. Thanks to all staff.

Thank you for a lovely evening. Perfect place to host our local plumbers for an early Christmas. Our table of 16 enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. Would highly recommend and will return if we're in the area again.

Excellent lunch. Fresh whitebait. Pork belly with red cabbage and green vegetables. Superb. Subtle but distinctive flavours. Beautifully prepared and presented. Good, if small selection of wines. Good service. Somewhat compensated for appalling service on Great Anglia trains which resulted in journey to London being cancelled. Every cloud... recommended. With Weavers closing, this is the place to go. Enjoy!

Very nice staff. Service excellent. Risotto amazing. My bosses fish looked great and he commented how nice it was. A little comment was that the chocolate brownie was really delicious, but a tiny portion!
