Everyone’s on the vegan hype. My mate told me about their vegan steak. Vegan food don’t really make my taste buds dance, but this vegan steak bake was some good stuff! Not only did it taste like steak but it looked like it too. I was well impressed!
The place has been refurbished since my first review, and it looks nice and kept very clean. It’s moving from 4 star rating to 5 now!
Gregg's never disappoints. I spend too much money here on their breakfast baguettes when I should be making my own breakfast. They are great value through (under £3.00 for a bacon and omlett baguette with extra bacon). I shall no doubt be back.
Everytime I buy from this Gregg's food is always not quite warm almost cold, even when coming from the hot counter. But same Gregg's taste, and overall clean with polite service.

I owe my life to Greggs, Mare St, Kingsland. While in the queue for my sausage roll, I was attacked by a masked bandit who absconded with my wallet and phone. With no hesitation, Darlene the cashier lept to my aid and before I knew it the assailant was subdued by toe-hold. Frank Mir would have been impressed by Darlene's technique! Thank you so much Greggs, Kingsland!
Brilliant customer service, everyone in there is so nice, been to a few Gregg's shops but mare street is the best by far for friendly service, I haven't had a single bad experience in there, big thumbs up from me, highly recommend 😊👍
Their vegan 'sausage' roll alone makes Gregg's a worthy snack option. Apparently the Belgian buns are vegan too!
Nice decent freshly cooked products never have a issue, coffee or latte are nice and fresh, great offers from breakfast to afternoons, good service in and out most times good
Lovely little shop the staff are so nice we have been getting just eat deliveries and always nice and hot
