Experienced the Classic Wine Tour today hosted by James. His passion for wine was matched by his extensive knowledge and it was all delivered in a manner that captivated his audience. But James' real passion was for sustainability and Ridgeview are embracing that in every area of the business. What an asset James is to Ridgeview.

Perfect spot to enjoy quality sparkling wine, just north of Ditchling, with a lovely view (south) of the South Downs. Ridgeview is a mid to high end product, but the three non vintage tasting is really relaxed and accessible. I’d recommend booking a table to eat afterwards, a nice sheltered set up just outside, with very good reasonably priced tapas style food. Next time we’re going to walk for lunch!

We decided to treat ourselves and visit the new look Rows and Vine restaurant at Ridgeview. We were not disappointed, it has an inside outside feel with heaters and blankets to keep you warm, it is tastefully decorated and has the most beautiful views of the Vineyard and South Downs autumnal colours. The staff were attentive and friendly. The menu is based around sharing plates of seasonal produce and the food is full of flavour and delicious. We only had one disappointment, they had sold out of two of the dishes we fancied but have no complaints on our alternative choice, so a good excuse to re visit.

I have been enjoying sparkling wines by Ridgeview for many years. I, was very excited to be able to book a tasting for me and some fellow sparkling wine lovers for private tasting. The booking process could not have been easier. Annabel and her team were just fabulous and very accommodating to a last minute change. The views of the vineyard was spectacular, it provided the perfect background to enjoy a variety of their sparkling wines. Sandro, hosted our tasting and he was just excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. The team on the day made us feel at ease...just a fabulous day. We will be returning to Ridgeview, later on in the year...once their restaurant opens to sample the food and of course purchase some more of their award winning sparkling wine. Highly recommended taking the tour as it is a great day out.

Great value for tasting! For £25 we were pleasantly surprised with the experience overall! Annabelle was a fantastic tour host, friendly, approachable and down to earth. It’s great see amazing UK wine on the map and to be able to taste 4 generous pours was an absolute treat as a girls day out. Highly recommend!
