Wow just had lunch at this beautiful cafe fantastic menu the food is divine we were over the moon we had mussels and scallops to start wow the scallops were succulent fresh and the best scallops I've tasted offering anything on the main menu for children at half the price that was such a welcome and refreshing change for the kids not to be restricted on what they fancied . Main meals were equally fantastic we had John Dory/MonkFish/Calamari/Haddock/Burger and they were all so tasty followed by lush pudding or Pavlova/Lemon Tart/Salted Carmel Brownie and Salcombe Ice cream Lovely friendly staff in a beautiful setting thanks for a great experience

Stunning location! The view, menu & service absolutely awesome. An amazing dining experience. Scallop Pancetta Caesar Salad the best I’ve eaten. Even on a busy day the staff were accommodating & so helpful.

Relaxed restaurant with superb menu choices. The view is hard to beat with activity on the river always interesting. Portions are impressively large. Advance booking is advisable, but the crabs were the highlight. Go for the crab tart if you aren't into extracting crab meat. It does take practise. Finger bowls might have been useful, but it was hugely entertaining to watch first timers...oh yes, you might want to bring safety goggles (for flying crab shell).

Gorgeous location with lovely staff and nice food. I was delighted that they were happy to adapt some of the dishes to make them vegan rather than vegetarian. It could be really useful if they could put vegan available on the menu. But I really appreciate them having vegan options. The vegan carrot cake was particularly lovely even though it wasn’t on the menu. Definitely something to add to the regular desert menu!

Had lunch here today after exploring the village. Food was fresh, hot & delicious and served by attentive friendly staff. Ingredients were top quality and well presented. Menu was varied but mainly aimed at seafood. Highly recommended and we will return.

We were super lucky to get in here as it was absolutely heaving! Thank god we did, because the food was utterly delicious. I have to admit, I don't think I've ever had such a brilliant prawn cocktail! And such a gorgeous village too, highly recommend

Pulled up after hiring a nice boat in Dartmouth we headed in for a little pick me up. We enjoyed a lovely cup of tea, a hot chocolate and a coffee. The coffee was really insipid but the tea and chocolate was lovely 😊 the pains au raisins were very welcome as well. Great views from the terrace over the river and good service.

Gorgeous location with some of the best seafood ever eaten! Staff, food, location all on point. Definitely book your place well in advance, it's incredibly popular! The BEST whitebait I've ever had the pleasure of trying! We came at a particularly busy time, plus in a mini heatwave and the staff were swamped, you could see how busy they were, but they were incredible and so friendly!

Great location and views of the river dart, fantastic super fresh seafood in a rustic wooden beach shack. Service was friendly and the drinks were reasonable. A must visit if your passing or anchor up if you have a boat as it's well worth a visit!! Navigate to near by parking if traveling by car, as there is no parking outside.

Went as a party of 15. Great views of dittisham. Friendly and helpful staff, most of the party had fish pie. Which looked fabulous. I chose the stuffed peppers. Worth the visit will definitely recommend a visit.

Some of the best seafood I've ever eaten. Scratch that THE BEST seafood I've ever eaten. Beautiful views over the estuary, great service, relaxed vibe and did I mention the food? If you're in or around Dittisham, go there now what are you waiting for? If you're in Dartmouth catch the ferry to Dittisham. If you're anywhere else, get in car and drive there right now. We will miss this place everyday until we return.

Gorgeous location and we were lucky enough to get a table with a fabulous view across the river. The Caesar salad was no ordinary salad! Lovely choice of food. Not cheap but worth the money.
