Beautiful old pub. Ireland’s oldest apparently! Lovely service and the food was incredible, some of the best food we’ve had in a long while! Vegetarian options Bang Bang Cauliflower and Mushroom Rissotto were faultless and my dad was mesmerised by the lamb shank on the specials board. Cannot recommend this place enough, and the staff were lovely and friendly!

Wow! This place is a hidden treasure. Its look from outside is deceiving. The restaurant attached to the bar is exceptional. The local seafood chowder is amazing — the best I’ve ever had. This dish alone made my flight from the states worth the visit. ❤️🙌🏼

Wow! Never judge a book by its cover. Very deceiving from the outside as it looks like a very old bar in a tiny cottage. Couldn't be more wrong! Friend rated their Guinness between 8-9 which says it all. Highly recommend visiting, we will be back to sample more.

We had a lovely meal with friends, this was our first visit and definitely hope to return. Food delicious and great service from friendly staff. We arrived not knowing it was steak night it ended up we all had steaks which were cooked as ordered.

Really fantastic food, service absolutely excellent. I feel like when you read "oldest pub in Ireland" you have a certain picture in your head and I'm not sure it met that for me, but I would still highly recommend this place and go back there myself.

First time here and love it. Such a lovely welcome from the staff to us and our dogs. Super beer garden to eat and drink in with the hounds. Delicious food and good portion size. Stuffed!! Great service and so helpful with allergies. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be back on our travels again!!

Very good food as a tourist. Clam chowder is spot on. 👌 would encourage others to try it.

We had a lovely early evening meal, booked at the least minute. Staff very accommodating and fitted us in, but they were clear how long we had the table for. That was fine, good communications. Tables far enough from each other to have a quiet conversation and background music at a reasonable level.
