Took my mum for her birthday. What a lovely place! Nothing too much trouble for the really friendly staff and the food was beautiful, realky enjoyed it. Obligatory piece of cake, to go, for hubby!

Excellent family run business the service is 1st class. Reasonable prices and the portions are good also. Take the time and visit this gem of a place its well worth the time you'll not be disappointed. Everything is made on the day with fresh ingredients also selection of cakes baked for the day.

Fantastic atmosphere and amazing food. We took our young niece and she absolutely loved it. She said it was a special place and it really felt like she was having a treat. We can't fault the observations of an eight year old. This was our second visit but it is definitely the place to come to first! We can't recommend this place enough,what a gem!

The Village Teapot is a delightful little place to meet up with friends. All the food is homemade and fresh, cakes looked amazing though I didn't have room for any. The staff are really friendly and helpful with regard to allergies and dislikes. Next time I go I'm having afternoon tea , looked amazing

This has got to be the best tea rooms this side of Doncaster. The food is freshly cooked. The decor is great, lovely vintage feel. Staff are so polite and can't do enough for you. Like a home from home. I would recommend the steak and onion sandwich and cream tea. Also the milkshakes are the best I've ever had.

Best experience ever!! Went to Doncaster and stumbled upon this magnificent spot! Amazing afternoon tea. EDIT: came here in 2017 and absolutely fell in love. I really can't recommend this place more!! I had the vegan afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious, there was a lovely variety of cakes and even vegan cheese for the sandwiches. I am really impressed. The staff were lovely and the customer service was excellent. Will definitely visit again!!
