2024 update: Returned after a while as not local and had the best sirloin steak I've had this year...tasty and perfectly cooked to order.
Previously: Really enjoyed the welcome, drinks served while you wait for a table etc . I had a Bruschetta starter and a freshly cooked Tagliatelle 'dish of the day' ... lovely taste for both. Service was attentive.

First visit to Vivo and we loved it. Small and traditionally decorated, full of atmosphere and a warm friendly service. (Hi Dan!) The menu has a good choice from pasta and pizza to meat and fish dishes with some interesting specials. Husband had tiger prawn starter and I had creamy garlic mushrooms. Both were lush. Mains was seabass in white wine sauce finished with prawns and husband had fillet steak. Both dishes came with lovely side order of roast potatoes and braised vegetables. Finished off sharing a tiramisu (home made and gorgeous). Lavassa coffee excellent. A busy Saturday night with a birthday party, but service was prompt and nothing too much trouble. We will be back and recommend to friends and family. A little way out of the centre of Doncaster in Bennetthorpe but well worth the trip.
