I cannot fault a single thing about our evening. Firstly, I booked a table online which I didn’t realise hadn’t been confirmed until we turned up, but they managed to get all 13 of us seated. Secondly, it was extremely busy. We took a while to order with us being a big group with children, and we were made aware that there could be a wait for the food. It came a lot quicker than I expected. Finally, we had meals that had things removed and things added, steaks asked to be cooked differently. Everything came out perfect. All steaks cooked as asked. All food came out as asked (fussy children). And everything was piping hot. We cannot complain. It was also quiz night, the atmosphere was great. Not a quiet night by any means, but we thoroughly enjoyed our night, as we do every time we attend Hatfields. All staff were lovely, even though they were rushed off their feet.

We met friends for Sunday lunch, it was 4 adults and 2 teens. Some if us had the Sunday lunch and some chose off of tge other menu, all meals were lovely, my vegetarian Sunday lunch was really nice and my son was super impressed with his fish and chips. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was great and environment was lovely.

We have just used the function room at Hatfields. Gill and all her staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble in the planning of our event. On the day Charlotte was our bar staff and she was brilliant. Again always helpful polite and good humoured. The food was excellent, prices were good and although we stayed longer than expected Charlotte never let on or pushed us out. I would highly recommend Hatfields as a venue for any event. Thank you Hill and all your staff.

We’re met with happy faces as is normal, and were shown to our table immediately which was good as we had my parents as part of our party and they can take their time these days. Most of our food was great but the steaks that were part of the mixed grill were inedible, neither could be cut with a steak knife which was disappointing as the rest of the meal was good.

We came here during covid and the place had sadly gone down hill. I had sausage and mash around 2021 and the mash was lumpy with no flavour and the sausages were really chewy. But gave them another chance 2 years later and I'm impressed! The food is back up to a high standard. I had the southern fried hunters chicken and I was not disappointed. The only criticism I had was that there was hardly any bbq sauce on it and the chunky chips tasted like cheap oven chips, not freshly baked and so did the fries. But overall, I'll be coming again. Friendly staff, very quick waiting times and decent enough food for good prices.

Food was awesome? The steak melted in ur mouth plus dessert was awesome as well? Highly recommended and was shocked with my Bill was expecting it to be a lot more? Me and my wife and son went out for a Sunday lunch yesterday on 9/7/23 and was really good homemade Yorkshire pudding was awesome and portions were massive we all enjoyed it and hats off to chef and staff

We attended a celebration in Hatfield's function room. The room as prepared was amazing, every little detail covered to ensure a perfect evening! The buffet was extraordinary with laid out hot, cold and salads, replenished with fresh food regularly. The staff were attentive, efficient and polite, no fuss, panic or flaps. A thoroughly memorable evening, with much thanks to all at Hatfield's.
