We absolutely love this place. We have been as a family, I had my 40th birthday party here and as a couple. Last night was no exception to all the other times. The staff are very polite and attentive and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. We had the anti-pasti starter which had a good selection of Italian meats, two different cheeses, olives, rockets and Crusty bread. Loved it, very tasty and filling. I had the Pasta Veronese which is pulled chicken, mixed mushrooms with a creamy sauce, beautifully presented. It doesn't look a lot but I was full afterwards. The pasta was silky and it was a gorgeous dish. My hubby had his favourite Spaghetti ala Rocco. Big homemade meatballs in a beautiful tomatoe sauce. Lovely surroundings, you never feel rushed or sat on top of each other. Can't fault this place. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars

Absolutely fabulous meal. The service exceptional. The atmosphere very good. If your ever over Doncaster way I can highly recommend this restaurant. Very happy. The starter I had was sublime King scallops, belly pork and black pudding. The main equally sublime. Lobster mousse ravioli with baby prawns and green onion in a creamy wine sauce. Tiramisu to finish. Best meal I have had in a long time. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Recently visited the restaurant as a party of three staff were pleasant and attentive. Seated immediately on arrival, drinks ordered, and left to choose our meals from the menu. The food was presented beautifully, and the taste and texture was also to a high standard. We had a 2 hour slot but never felt rushed at any point. The cocktails I'm told were delicious, we will be returning here.

Service was excellent, food was presented well, super tasty and a huge range on offer. Cocktails were great and a larger selection of drinks. My Burrata salad starter was wonderful and I will be having that again!
Our only issue is we were a table of seven and we were sat on a 6 table, I know being an odd number is difficult at times but space on the table was limited - we should have said something while we were there and will next time, this didn't spoil our experience.

Italian restaurant in the village of Tickhill, Doncaster. Large seating space, indoors and outdoors. Public car park just behind which is unbelievably, free. Decent wine collection, good food. Very good atmosphere with enough space between tables to not feel crowded in. Pleasant service.
Roccos has much to offer and is certainly worth more than the odd visit. I hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did.

It's a 4.5 really. It's situated in a great spot in Tickhill, the restaurant is done out well and the atmosphere is great.
We found the staff very professional and the service on point and very attentive.
Overall the food was really good, the antipasti was great, the risotto was loved by all. I have to admit to having had better pizza (although it was a decent pizza), however, I blame the wife as I was going to have the wild boar pasta but she was debating between pizza & risotto so I sacrificed the wild boar for pizza so she could have both...anything for brownie points.....
It is slightly pricey and they do add the service charge which while not making much of a difference to me as I always give 10%+ if the experience is good...I always prefer the choice to do so.
One thing that I always rate a restaurant on is whether I'd go back. We all said when reading the menu that there was numerous dishes we'd like to try and afterwards said we'll have to come back and try them...but when it's warm, sunny and we can sit outside.
Definitely worth a visit....
Great service, really good food and a lovely atmosphere. We turned up yesterday evening after riding 100 miles around Doncaster all day and this was just what we needed to refuel. Highly recommend and hope to be back
I love this place. The food is excellent, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is ideal and not all crammed together.
