Had a lovely meal last night, my steak was cooked just the way I liked it, my partners was cooked to her liking , staff are very polite as are the owners, was asked several times if the meal was to our liking, a very friendly atmosphere and good food, can't knock it, thanks .��

We booked a table for 4 pm most of our party got caught in traffic and were 45 minutes late.
The staff was excellent they were friendly and welcoming,the food was Amazing! The portions were generous and we all left full and happy.
Also my meal was Gluten Free as I'm wheat intolerant and I had good portions and mu own gravy

First visit since new owners took o er, we live in Derby, and the food was SO good! Service first class, food piping hot. Best prices too. I had the yummy vegetarian option.
Best pub in the area by miles - food is great, venue is great, and the people are so helpful. Took my grandma today, as I always do, and my grandma was asking for a lot...like having her tea reheated in the microwave as she is old and was feeling cold. Staff only too happy to help, understanding, and made a fuss of her. Such a good place. The cajun chicken sandwich is the best.
Just been for our Sunday lunch; I had Turkey and my husband had Beef, Everything was very tasty and I would have eaten every scrap but the huge homemade Yorkshire pudding finished me off xx 😉
Staff were friendly and very attentive too.
Great welcome lovely service, home cooked steak pie for me and a so-called SMALL PLATE roast beef dinner for my wife was huge!!! Sadly we were just too full to take advantage of the goodies o the dessert menu. So sorry we were only in the are for the day or else we would be back tomorrow.
Superb food and very friendly staff. You may have to reserve a table but it will be worth it. Give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.
