We booked a table for 4 pm most of our party got caught in traffic and were 45 minutes late.
The staff was excellent they were friendly and welcoming,the food was Amazing! The portions were generous and we all left full and happy.

First visit since new owners took o er, we live in Derby, and the food was SO good! Service first class, food piping hot. Best prices too. I had the yummy vegetarian option.

Just been for our Sunday lunch; I had Turkey and my husband had Beef, Everything was very tasty and I would have eaten every scrap but the huge homemade Yorkshire pudding finished me off xx 😉
Staff were friendly and very attentive too.
Great welcome lovely service, home cooked steak pie for me and a so-called SMALL PLATE roast beef dinner for my wife was huge!!! Sadly we were just too full to take advantage of the goodies o the dessert menu. So sorry we were only in the are for the day or else we would be back tomorrow.
Superb food and very friendly staff. You may have to reserve a table but it will be worth it. Give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Under the new management it's now open at 12.00pm from Tuesdays in the week. Just had a meal and it was fantastic. Good value, lovely place and lovely staff.
