The Restaurant At Owston Hall Doncaster

Lovely hotel, we stayed for the weekend, staff were amazing especially the tall dark brunette cutie who looked after us at breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacey, the maids were on the ball and breakfast was yummy! Plenty of parking & plenty of smiles from all the staff, although one of the managers was telling off one member of staff (he couldn’t see us) which I thought was a bit unprofessional- other than that a really enjoyable stay- thanks to you all

Fantastic place for golf and the grounds are picturess. my son had his wedding reception here in 2022. Then we went back in November 2023 to celebrate his 1st wedding anniversary. The staff and especially the bar staff were great. They laid a beautiful table for them and bubbles. The food is amazing and big portions. I definitely recommend coming here.

Visited with our little golf society. Nice welcome from the staff and the Bacon butty etc was lovely. Fortunately the weather was great and the course was a nice change and challenge. Just one thing.... some of the tees were in need of attention as they were quite poor. Other than that, a lovely day, thankyou!

Stayed a few times at this location. This occasion, I stayed in a ground floor room that was very nice bit missing a name plate so couldn't find it to start with. The downside of this room is the doors from outside to the stairwell slam and are very loud. The food and cider were amazing and the service from the staff couldn't be faulted I look forward to staying hear again.

Rooms were a very good size, as was the adjoining bathroom. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. We had a 3 course meal, but the choice that we had seemed to be very limited and more of a pub grub meal, than fine dining experience. Although the food we had was very nice, just not what I was expecting from such a place. Breakfast, full English buffet, was lovely. The golf course itself was enjoyable for the most parts, some of the tee boxes and greens could do with some attention.

Owston Hall is a brilliant place to stay and I highly recommend. The rooms are amazing- so much space with beautiful decor and immaculately clean. The en suite was enormous with brilliant shower and all the sundries you need. The hotel is beautiful and the bar, restaurant and outside areas are lovely. The food was fabulous and there is a very elegant menu to choose from. The staff - from housekeeping to bar to restaurant to reception are fantastic - genuinely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The spa area is currently being upgraded and I can't wait to go back when it is all completed. There is a brilliant golf course which is well maintained and people who like golf ( I don't) will love it. It was great for me as a single traveller but they also host golfing parties and weddings and other functions. The management team are brilliant and are going to make a huge success of this venue. Loved it and highly recommend 😀
