Absolutely spot on.
We have only ordered fish & chips with mushy peas & will eventually try their other menu items.
Fish is cooked to order, it is actually a decent sized fillet with the most tasty, flaky white fish. The batter is crispy & not at all greasy.

Very generous portions of fish & chips, the haddock is especially good. Service can be a bit slow, but then most things are cooked to order so it's a trade-off for quality. Cash only, but ATM about 100 metres away at filling station.
The best fish and chips i have ever tasted, boiling hot and always fresh, we always make a trip to here when we are up in the area
Excellent,good portions ,clean ,chips are lovely , grandkids loved their spam fritters and large sausage in batter ,plenty of choice , nuggets,kebabs,etc ,,,will be back
Been looking forward to reviewing here for a while. It was as expected terrific! Chips cooked to perfection, fresh fluffy fish wrapped in a delicious batter. Staff polite, and the establishment is spotlessly clean.

Quality fish & chips - been to loads over the years and this is one of the best. Always have large haddock & mrs large cod - batter is light/tasty - chips to my liking - also tried a chicken kebab and will be having another soon - highly recommended.
Always amazingly delicious fish. I am particular with my fish and when it is good, I eat it all and enjoy it. We keep going back. The food does not have any surplus fat on it so we like it. Portion sizes are great, though well frequented, not a very long wait. We will be back x..
Never had a bad meal, whether it's kebab or Fish and Chips. There's a fish and chip shop just down the road but we always travel the 5miles out of our way as we know the meals are always fantastic.
The lads are always polite and welcoming. Can't recommend them high enough 👍
Very friendly staff. Fantastic food. Fish n Chips are lovely but the 3 meat kebab is to die for. The meat melts in your mouth and tastes like heavenly. Bigger portions to Epworth Grill where the prices are sky high and portions get smaller every week.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, reasonable sized portions. Good for daytime lunch, fills a gap, but don't make ya fall asleep!
My wife and I enjoy our Friday evening fish and chips take away from Plaice 2 Be.Consistent quality,thick cod portions,tasty chips coupled with mushy peas and curry sauce plus a large sausage for our large "Goldie".
Good fish and chips. Price reasonable. Will be back.
