Absolutely amazing place. Food is outstanding and very good value for your money. Staff are polite and very attentive. Would definitely recommend.
This was a grand pub to go drinking at, located conveniently near the train station and for its namesake if you're an enthusiast! The pub has a sleek design with imagery related to The Mallard, it is neat and lighting is pretty. The counter is well-presented and the staff were friendly, serving me a cheap pint that I enjoyed at leather seating! Went here again and shared a plate of Nacho's with my friend, these were deliciously fresh upped my opinion only more.
Very busy in the afternoon, regardless service is quite quick. Would recommend the sauce to come separately from the main. I had wings with hot hot sauce and they were smothered. I do like spicy that's why I ordered them, but that burned my mouth, couldn't taste anything else.
Very helpful and attentive staff. Sunday dinner (top side of beef) was very good. Fair priced as would expect from a greenking chain pub.

Went here for a birthday party. Staff were all super attentive, friendly, outgoing. A really good atmosphere, empty glasses were cleaned up regularly and all in all it was a really good experience. I would definitely go back for a return visit.
The food was amazing stake was done perfect. The burger was so tasty and filling the chicken wings were just spot on. Service was great very polite would recommend to anyone
9/11/21 Great food and service today, I would say today is the best food I’ve ever had in mallard and all staff are great best line up of staff what mallard as yet as todays staff know what there doing without just walking around like headless chickens. David should be proud of the staff he’s had today, the girls behind the bar work amazing definitely Chloe, I’ve seen staff interact with the deaf community even though the staff don’t know any sign language. Called in both before and after going to the St Leger, it was very busy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Had an excellent meal before setting off for home. Highly recommended
Good food, good ambiance and really good service. This pub is just outside Doncaster railway station inside a mall. Very convenient if you want to grab a meal before heading to station. They have everyday special offers. We went for lunch before catching our train back to London. Food was really good and service was quick. Taking all required precautions for COVID-19.

This real ale eating pub sadly had a poor choice of basic ales on
I had a super special breakfast, and because of the poor range of real ales, a pint of coke also had
The food was good a bit slow to get the food but it was lovely as were the staff
Nice easy going place to eat and drink in
I would not give 5 stars today because of the poor choice of hand pumped ales on offer
