My recent visit to the McDonald's in Doncaster left me with an impression of standard fare and a bit of creativity on my part. In search of a quick pick-me-up, I decided to experiment by crafting my own makeshift frappe.
Let's start with the McDonald's experience itself. The Doncaster location was just as you would expect: clean, well-lit, and efficient. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which is essential for a fast-food joint.
As for the menu, it was the usual array of familiar items, and I couldn't help but feel that there was nothing particularly unique or special about it. I opted for something a bit off the beaten path by ordering an espresso and a vanilla milkshake with the intention of creating my own frappe.
The espresso, surprisingly, had a decent kick of caffeine, and the milkshake was creamy and had a nice vanilla flavor. Mixing them together, I was able to concoct a makeshift frappe that was surprisingly satisfying. It's not something you'll find on the regular menu, but if you're willing to get a bit creative, you can enjoy a personalized treat.
Overall, my visit to this McDonald's in Doncaster was an unremarkable one in terms of the standard menu offerings. However, the ability to customize your own drinks and the convenience of the location make it a suitable stop for a quick bite or a caffeine fix when you're in the area. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, consider experimenting with your own creations – who knows, you might stumble upon a tasty surprise like my impromptu frappe!

We have made this our breakfast venue while staying at Lakeside.
Very good service and one of the best teams we have encountered.

McDonald's was an easy choice to make for a light lunch. Barely 3 minutes walk from the hotel carpark.
Quite busy on our arrival, ordered food by McDonald's app.

Always a great experience visiting Mcdonalds at Doncaster Lakeside. Being my Local Mcdonalds, I visit regularly and they are always helpful and on the ball with what you need to know. Of course, I've had some odd experiences here with staff but overall, a good experience.
The food is always cooked and warm throughout and they always have everything on the menu, on offer. They were also very helpful during Covid too which again, is massively ideal.
10/10, would visit again.

Typically McDonald’s. Nothing more to be expected.
Drive through is quick and easy, but the location means getting out on to the main road is a nightmare due to short sequence traffic lights.
Would recommend walking.

Only issue we usually have here is no milkshakes or they forget our sauces. Apart from that, all good
Decided to sit in with the kids and have a quick bite to eat. The staff were lovely, making sure that the kids were entertained whilst we were waiting for food and we weren't waiting too long. Can't go wrong with a good Maccy Ds!
Service could be a little quicker but out of few that are in the area, this is my preferred one. Generally cleaner, calmer and more efficient.

Mark the guy who takes the orders is absolutely brilliant, lovely and friendly guy who you can share a joke with whilst paying. Every time we go to mc Donald’s and we hear marks voice on the intercom the kids love it .. thank you mark
