Visited for a spot of breakfast and arrived about 10:30. Unfortunately we didn't get any food until 11:05. Quite bad for a breakfast and a bacon butty (a sausage and some scrambled eggs for Heinz). Approximately 4 other tables in when we ordered.. Was full when we left though.
The food itself was nice, nothing extraordinary but not the worst either. Price was good too. Right down the middle.
Great location, nice to sit and watch the birds on the lake but its not enough to keep our 2 year old entertained for 35 minutes whilst waiting for some food.
Will visit again but hope its quicker next time round.

Great little cafe very busy and loud at times.
The food was spot on and served quickly despite being busy.
Only downside was the slight attitude on the person who took our order.

Absolutely fantastic large Sunday dinner. I went for beef and it was that tender it was falling apart. I paid Ā£8 however there's a small option for Ā£6. Seating is available inside and out. There's a carpark next door.

Arriving at lunchtime meant a small wait. We were served quickly and took seats outside, looking over the lake. Sally brought our drinks and food as soon as it was ready. As always, our meals were tasty. This is a very popular cafe with good reasonably priced food. The service is quick and friendly

Treated ourselves to an early breakfast, we both had a small cooked breakfast, generous portions for a small one, piping hot and delicious, couldn't ask for any better.
