Just popped in for tea and gorgeous lemon cake, after walking around sculpture park. …
Was ok, had higher expectations. Feels very conventional compared to the sculpture park and the decor outdated. Food was just ok and the atmosphere not that exciting.
One of the best cafes in the area in a very lovely setting. High quality coffee, fantastic lunches. Even if not visiting the Sculptures around the lakes you should pop in here for lunch or cake or just a coffee. Ideal as a cycling stop.

Popped in for a cuppa and breakfast after we had walked around Sculptures by the Lakes. Warm welcome, staff attentive, food was very nice. The log burner was going which was nice,as it was freezing outside. Its a shame we dont live closer , we'd of made it a regular spot.
