Honestly I would say this is the best restaurant in Dorking (and there's a lot of great places for food here!) The food is absolutely exquisite the space is big and bright- the renovation as opposed to a few years ago has done wonders for the restaurant! Best falafel I've ever had and as someone who never eats baklava... The baklava made at this restaurant by the chef was absolutely to die for! Every dish is absolutely spectacular and the lovely atmosphere makes everything all the more enjoyable! The owner is also very funny and playful which makes for an overall lovely experience! Although this can be a bit pricey- absolutely worth every penny and would rival any restaurant in London (that would charge 3x the price!) Everyone should go to this restaurant at least once if you're in the area (although I can guarantee you'll end up going there many more times after that!)

Fabulous restaurant and great food. Was a little on the spicy side for my personal taste but now that I've been and know that, you can request and they will tone it down a bit. Very large portions (which you can have doggy bags)! Will definitely go again and recommend. Book in advance if you can as very busy - I went on a Thursday and it was almost full.

The restaurant is very clean with very friendly staff. The food was well prepared and presented. The tastes were out of this world and would recommend this restaurant to anybody. It’s not a cheap place but you get what you pay for.

What an amazing atmosphere and divine food. Our family celebrated a birthday here. And the staff are friendly, accommodating and funny. I had a 10oz dry aged Antricote and it was truly brilliant. Cooked to perfection (medium rare) with lovely garlic mushrooms and a peppercorn sauce. I can't wait to be back!

The food was simply delicious: fresh, tasty and well made. The portions were generous and the price was fair for the quality and quantity of the food. The customer service was admirable; the owner and his staff were always friendly, attentive and ready for any request. The restaurant was extremely clean and well-finished. Absolutely recommended: 10/10!

Fantastic venue for Family birthday party, the food was lovely, the staff were really friendly, especially Cengiz & Mehmet, leading upto the Birthday the communication was great and answered all our questions.
On the day they were accomodating and friendly, added sparklers to the birthday cake, and pre cut and decorated with chocolate sauce before handing out which was a lovely touch, we were a party of 20,we all enjoyed, will definitely be a go to for future family celebrations

You could walk past this place and perhaps not notice it. However step inside and you'll be very impressed. Really attractive decor, staff professional and customer focused without being intrusive. We had late lunch of king prawns and calamari for starters, then monkfish and swordfish for mains. Absolutely divine, considerable portions and would highly recommend. Will definitely return!

This place is an absolute gem 💎
The food, service & atmosphere are all 5 ⭐. The gentleman who greeted us was super friendly and greeted us as though we were his only customers despite the place being half full. The service he provided was personal, nothing was too much trouble and he has a cracking sense of humour.
£80 for a starter, 4 mains & drinks. The food, of which, would not be out of place in some of the places which have Michelin stars.
Would 💯 recommend this place... Definitely visit on an empty stomach as the portions are biiiiig 😊

Do yourself a favor and go on a hike around Box Hill followed by a meal here. The food is a bit pricey (e.g £4.90 for a side of chips) but completely worth it. We had the Roosters Kebap and Lamb Beyti and both were delicious, and the decor/vibe was nice.
The only slight put off was we felt really pressured to give a tip. When we declined (only ordered 2 dishes, we weren’t a big party) the owner got passive aggressive and even said “okay you didn’t like service? Got it” and walked off. Im not sure if we were asked because I have an American accent or if this is asked to everyone and/or other customers provide tip, haven’t seen this in any other reviews.

An outstanding evening meal for a family birthday.
This is the second time I have eaten here and it really is superb.
Beautifully decorated, with luxury touches.
The menu is detailed so needs to be studied.
The food is cooked and presented to perfection. Even the salad leaf, tossed in oil tastes amazing!
We were a party of 5 and ate starters, mains, just 1 dessert and coffees. Everything we had was exceptional.
The owner greets you like family and really makes the experience a special one. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was busy.. this isn’t surprising considering the quality of food, service and ambience.
One of the nicest local restaurants I have been to.

Food was Sumptous and as lovely as the presentation. Beautiful place. I love how big the portions are and the price is just right.
What I didn’t find likeable was that how the staff makes you feel rushed to order and eat and just go. I believe we have to enjoy food with company and the food is really nice but won’t be as tasty to savour if someone checks all the time if you’ve finished your food.

We found this gem of a restaurant by sheer chance and are so happy we did! Absolutely amazing food, beautifully presented, generous portions and everything tasted fresh and out of this world. The staff and owner were very attentive and friendly - one member of staff even brought an extra heater without being asked as it was a very cold day. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and furnished and very inviting. We can highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be back!
