The takeaway fish and chip meal was definitely the best we have tasted on Portland. A care - quality - service in presentation and delivery.

I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. We ordered a regular cod with a side of fries of 4 people and it was great! All fresh and piping hot, portion was well enough for each person, can't imagine what the large portion is considering how good the regular was. Recommended if you're staying in Castletown and can't afford one of the restaurants around.

Chips, large battered sausage and curry sauce.
This was a great little find and I will definitely be going here again.
The food was great and surprisingly not dripping with oil. The curry sauce was good too.

Ordered ahead. Very busy but order was ready at about the right time. Everything was a good temperature and tasty when got it back to the house.
If ordering the chicken nuggets - they come UNDER the chips (a regular clarification we were told!)
Meal deal fish was good value but the tartare a tad sharp for our taste. The portion size was excellent.
Kids chips were sizable so could easily feed a pre-teen rather than the 5 yr old in tow.

Really tasty, crispy fish and chips cooked to order. We came on Saturday night at peak time so it was quite busy and our order took 20 minutes. Would definitely go again. Staff were very pleasant. Prices were good value for what we had.

Ok so this is a bit mixed. Went on a Tuesday and it was absolutely stunning. Great fresh fish and chips, generous portions and a good price. But Friday they were working really hard and service was slower but understandably so, but the fish was a little dryer and the chips not so good. A pity because I thought they were great earlier in the week.
