I am staying at the hotel and have had two dinners here. The food is very good, but the waitress, or whatever she is, is extremely rude.
Tonight I was deep in thought, reading an important email. Without addressing me, she started yelling at me and asked if I was OK. I guess she wanted to take me to a table, but I didn’t know she was talking to me.
I have trouble with my hearing and with her French? accent, I was having trouble understanding her. As she recited the specials, I told her I wanted the Wueenies. She kept going and at the end I again said what I wanted. She turned and walked away. After a few minutes, I realized that she hadn’t asked about sides. She said, “Oh, do you wish to order?” Yes, I did. She never came near my table again. I am unable to get anyone’s attention and am still sitting here 20 minutes after the table was cleared.
I asked another girl last night if I could get my bill and got a snippy, “I am not your waitress!”
I have two more nights here and need to decide if I will eat here, no matter how good the food is

Lovely surroundings however its not in French style as the previous building, but the food is very good. If you haven't tried the food, then it's a must whether you are local or visiting. Make sure try L'experie

Went last night with friends. Awesome food as always,they just do everything right here. I shared the Chateaubriand with Steve. Excellent,then I had a dessert,Roquefort with pear,which doesn’t adequately describe it. There was all sorts going on. Taste explosion! Best dessert EVER.

We went with friends on a wet and windy Friday night. Inside, it was just like little France, snug and welcoming. The French Onion soup is splendid, and you can split starters so you can have a small soup and say some mushrooms. Main courses were all generous and very tasty. We didn't have our, not that exciting a range but overall it was brilliant. Thank you

Food was great, warm atmosphere, friendly staff, priced accordingly for the high quality ingredients and service. Lobster and steak were particularly favourite in our group. Save room for the desert!

Lovely little place great food wonderful staff. Sign had blown down when we went so a little hard to find, you will need Google image of front of it and it's basically on the sea front.

Sumptious food, excellent and friendly service, superb wines. The fish specials are highly recommended, along with the cheese souffle, the filet steak, and indeed many of the other french classics. It may not look much from the outside, but it's a hidden gem that beats all the newcomers around the harbour.

A fantastic hidden gem, the food is amazing and it is well worth the money spent. The staff go above and beyond to give you a better l'experience.
