Newick's Lobster House

I LOVE @Newicks Lobster House!! (#Newicks Lobster House) I STILL DONT KNOW HOW @s and #s work; I’m too old; crazy people NOW HAVE TO SAY they are too OLD to know how to get along in this world. No longer able to give sage advice; kids look to friends and phones and that’s where things begin to go…) ..ANYHOW…Anyone who goes here more than once does: and then does again. It can become quite the habit. A good one;) always welcome . Always friendly . You can’t beat the atmosphere. The people are great. A friendly laid back place to relax and eat and check out my art while you’re waiting for your food?! Haha. No really. It’s good.

Beautiful sunset view overlooking the water. Wonderful food. The most friendly staff I've had at any restaurant in New England since the pandemic. We were greeted with smiles and warmth and treated wonderfully the entire visit AND we got there late. They were closing at 8pm and we got there at 7:40ish pm. The food was amazing and so fresh. I would recommend and I would go back!

I remember this place as a kid. It was always busy and the gift shop was great, now gone. It was a special treat. The food is still as good as it was, although the menu is much smaller. Classic seafood joint fried boiled and baked with chowder and other offerings. The yawning empty space definitely takes the shine off and makes me remember days coming with my Dad and grandparents when it was packed! It's certainly not what it was but it's the best example of some decent classic New England seafood for a reasonable price I know of in the area. The service was very good and everything was a slice of memories with great people.
