Completely vegan (which is hard to come by). The girls gave me a coffee recommendation and it was one of the best coffees i’ve ever had. I also had the breakfast sandwich and it was the best thing I have tasted since going vegan a few months ago. They even wrote me a card on Christmas Eve wishing me a happy holiday. Highly highly highly recommend- underrated.

I love having Vegan options where I live! The smoothies are amazing. The Açaí bowls are delicious and you can never go wrong with a Dolly Burger! Eating healthy as well as conscientiously 🌱

Everything here is amazing! We stopped in to pick up orders a few times last summer (lots of tasty ice cream sandwiches) and was always happy with what we ordered. Roots is a passionate, local owned small business that takes care in everything they do. They made pickups safe and easy during covid, are always really kind and knowledgeable of food allergies, and you can tell they make everything from the heart. It’s not always easy to find vegan food and to have it be this good makes Roots another local gem.

Always creative, beautifully presented and most importantly delicious! I'm not Vegan but Roots Vegan Cafe' & Juice Bar has introduced me to some amazing plant based dishes that I otherwise would never have tried. Whether you're full time Vegan or not...delicious is delicious and Roots is worth it! The Rise & Shine smoothie and the Sunny Sandwich are some of my faves.

If you want some vegan food that is other worldly don’t hesitate to come here- just know you’ll become an instant regular. I appreciate how much effort it takes for a small business to stay open during a pandemic let alone one that revolves around food. When you order your food online the process is seamless, and when you pick your food up the employees are always wearing face masks appropriately! I genuinely enjoy the happiness in this restaurant and I cannot thank you enough for staying open!

I lived in Dover for nearly 30 years. After I moved, I continued to frequent Dover for work and visiting those I love. Roots has been such a wonderful addition to our Downtown. Whether you're vegan or not, you will most certainly find something tasty to try. I love their Dolly Burger as a salad. I also enjoy the Rise and Shine smoothie.
Next time you're in town, you deserve to give them a try!

I love the sunny sandwich (pre order with the online ordering system so you don't miss it - it sells out quick!) and any of the baked goods :) It's been so hard to find delicious vegan food in the Seacoast - I'd been wishing and hoping for the perfect vegan breakfast spot and I've found it! So yummy and I appreciate that the employees wear masks and limit people inside the store during order pickup - makes me feel cared for!

This is one of my absolute favorite local spots. I have celiacs and my husband has a dairy allergy. To walk into an establishment and feel completely comfortable ordering anything from the menu is an incredible feeling. If the poptarts are available during your visit I highly suggest picking one up, they are my favorite. I also love the breakfast sandwiches, French toast, and cakes.
