What do I recommend about Orient Noodle Bar? Everything!!
Ive got to be honest, we're lazy so order takeaways to be delivered. Therefore we've not ordered from here since living in Dover (12 years). We didn't realise how good it is! Considering how lazy we are it's a huge thing that, rather than getting takeaways delivered, we now go down to collect from here, each & every time!
We usually have a range of takeaways over the month (Chinese, Indian, pizza/kebab and, I'm ashamed to say, Kaspers. Don't judge me!) but this month we've had food from here every time, apart from once (pizza).
So, the reason we love them is the food is fresh, really fresh. It's cooked well and to order. The veg is perfect (for me) as I don't like it overcooked but the veg is always still perfectly crunchy. My husband has the ribs & the meat just falls off its so nicely cook. The prawn toasts are crunch as they are meant to be (some takeaways they are slightly soggy). I have dried fried noodles & they actually are, whereas some places say dry fried but then are in a sauce. I could go on (and apparently, according to my husband when I read this out to him, I do! Cheeky of it!).
The food is cooked in front of you & it's amazing to watch him cooking about 15 things at one time as. He looks so chilled out about it all but he has been doing it many many years & it shows. The work are is clean & tidy. Everyone is friendly & polite too.
We have just ordered & my husband is on his way to collect it. I cant see us using any other Chinese again unless these guys are shut. I cant believe we've missed out for 12 years!!
Peak!! it is my 2nd times visiting Dover for swimming. For me, it s the best food in the center there. Delicious food for swimmers. Good energy source to keep you swimming. Price is the best. 🙏🏿thank you chef there! hard work. My friends and coach are all happy. We come back again and again. Appreciated.
Been a customer for many years, food is always amazing, Tony and the staff are awesome, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Even when they were about to close he very kindly cooked for us after a very busy evening, and the food was absolutely perfect, highly recommend 😊

The best Chinese food for miles in the local area. Proper authentic Hong Kong Style Chinese food. Great tasting dishes with fresh high quality ingredients. Tony is a top chef and a top person, if you want something as you like it, never a problem. Highly recommended! Best in town for sure🙂

Clean and neat place, a bit noisy inside due to the open kitchen solution with the ventilation and all. Friendly staff and chef. Excellent food! Fast delivery.
In my opinion, it's up there with one of the best Chinese takeaways in Dover. It's great watching Tony on the cooking in the open kitchen. You know it's the place to go when you have people of the same culture eating there.
The food was incredibly delicious, very fresh and the price was very reasonable. Also the service was very friendly. Thank you very much!

The food is super fresh and so tasty. We couldn't decide where to eat in Dover as it was a special occasion and after a deliberation we chose Orient Nooodle Bar.
We had a takeaway and the flavour and taste of food was superb. Would recommend to everyone.
